I can’t say enough good things with Cooper Landing Fishing Guide! The owner, Dave, had excellent communication skills and was accommodating, when booking our outing. Our tour guide, Kendall, was absolutely amazing! Very informative, very helpful, and he made for a great experience for both my wife and me. We are so happy that we booked with Cooper Landing fishing guide service! It was a great day from the beginning! Our day began at 9 AM and our Guide, Trevor , was waiting for us when we arrived at 8:55 AM. Trevor was knowledgeable, conscientious, patient and incredibly personable. He not only took time to Teach us to fish for sockeye salmon, but he proved to be a steward of the River and its surroundings. He was sure to point out different flora and fauna and Was clearly a person that cared about doing things the right way. My kids were able to learn a little bit about fishing and, more importantly, about stewardship of the area. We would highly recommend Coopers Landing Fishing Guide service!

Can’t say enough good things about our day in the Kasilof River with Aaron. Professional, fun, knowledgeable, patient and enthusiastic, all things you want in a fishing guide. He totally customized my trip for me and my girlfriend, we spent the morning targeting sockeye and the afternoon targeting trout with a typical nymph/bead setup for my girl and he even got me into some runs to use my Spey rod. I’ll be booking with Aaron again no doubt and I recommend you do too. It’s not easy to pull off a trip that makes a beginner and an advanced angler happy but he did just that.

Just finished our second guided fishing trip with Brian for sockeye and fourth overall with the company! Brian was our very first guide on our very first trip for coho salmon in 2021. We had such a great time we have been back every year since! I cannot say enough about Cooper Landing fishing guides, they are very knowledgeable, professional and personable at the same time. They make you feel like you’re part of their family! We will continue to come back every year, it is now part of our yearly vacation schedule. Brian we will see you next summer!

I can’t say enough great things about this company! The staff was completely accommodating with our short stay in Alaska. Our guide was amazing with my children and put us on an abundance of fish. If your looking for a guide service that is there 100% for their clients, you need look no further. Aaron was WELL PREPARED, he had a plan before we were on the water and his guidance was superb. This was my first time fishing for Sockeye and Arron was meticulous with his instruction advice. He worked with each of us, individually, to assure we were successful. Limits for all four of us was just the icing on the cake for a well planned trip. Thank you Aaron!

Everyone in our family had an amazing, amazing time fishing!! Dave gave us tips on planning our trip to Alaska before we even left home. We fished with him and his guides for three very fun days. Dave gave us options each day on what we wanted to fish for, took us to the perfect spots to get lots of fish, helped us with technique, and made for an absolutely great vacation for us and our kids. I’d give 100 star if that were an option! Huge thank you to Dave for wonderful memories we will have for a lifetime! They all treated us like family. Fabulous pictures too!!!!!

Outstanding fishing trip! Our guide Jeff was great. We did a half day tour. Next time we will do the full day option. Jeff spent plenty of time making sure we knew what to do and gave us plenty of opportunities to fish. My youngest caught a huge rainbow trout! Just remember to bring cash for tipping…we didn't have cash and had no way to give extractor the service. Highly recommend!
