At this place for 4 1/2 hours so far and these employees are on their phones more than they are loading trucks. One forklift driver is driving down the street, playing on his cell phone. I'm glad I'm not the owner cause I sure wouldn't want to pay employees to be on their cell phones instead of working.

Love this place! Staff is nice as long as it ain't office staff. Usually in and out under an hour for flatbeds. Sign says 8-5 but most of the time they unload about 7 ish. Gladly come here anytime!

The office staff isn't to professional. When you come to this place, follow the signs to park in the dirt lot. Call the number posted and they will set you up with what you need. On my pick up instructions the name of the place is Hinton Lumber, Cottondale is on the signs.

Truck driver review. Got in and out within 40-45min. Check in 3:06pm, got a door immediately, checking out with paperwork in hand at 3:45pm. Got to back into docks off the street. It's enough space

I guess it depends on where and what you're getting loaded with. Dry van, pallet parts. I was in and out within 1hr12min from check in(there's a number on a sign you have to call) to departure. For checking in go to the end and park in the lot on the right. Make sure you get the phone number on the sign that tells you to do this.
Guy came and got me and I had to follow him to near building 8.

I have to rate them 1 star because even after 8 hours of waiting there to be loaded they haven't begun loading. I gave back the bills which they gave me earlier when I was backed into the dock and pulled my truck out and left. In all fairness the people where really nice and they had power outage earlier in the day for like couple of hours, also this particular load was supposed have been picked up by another carrier and was scheduled for 1 pm pickup time, but for whatever reason that didn't happen and my company got the load from the brokarge company after 2 pm, I was just a few miles away from this place when I was dispatched and arrived at 2:30pm to check in and was told I was late and missed my appointment that I would have to wait to be worked in but not till after 4:30, ok fine not a big deal it was a fairly good paid load and seemed to be an easy 200 mile run to Hattiesburg, MS so I waited. I got docked about 6:30pm the power came back on shortly after that, they made the bills and gave them to me and said sit tight they'll load you soon. Again ok not a problem. 10 pm came around when I realized nothing was happening (3 other trucks where docked also and none of them were being loaded either) I went to the loading dock to ask about, the guys weren't sure what was the problem but said they'll load me in half hour. At this point my dispatch had already told me to leave, but I wanted to wait the half hour in hopes that they'll at least star but at 10:41pm still nothing so I went and gave them the bills back and said I have to go and left. 8 hours is plenty of time in my opinion to get loaded no matter what the issue since it's been on the schedule to be loaded at 1pm. But I think other than that this could have been an ok place to pick up even if they do take a little longer than normal to load. BTW, it was a load of pallets

Absolutely ridiculous. Spent 11 hours there total, 6 of which on the dock. Watched a forklift driver hit a powerline with a stack of pallets, genius. Massive mounds of sawdust piled up outside, has to be some sort a safety concern with a yard full of wood, some of which is being stacked inches away from power lines.

Go up
