We used Custom Cabinets by Lawrence Construction for our custom home build in the Spring of 2017. We found them through a google search, oddly enough, when searching for cabinet makers in the Lawrence, KS area. Upon finding them through google, I read the great reviews both on Google and Facebook and scheduled a meeting with James Lawrence to discuss our cabinet build, timeline and cost. He was very professional, honest and timely in getting us an estimate for our cabinet job. We were very shocked and pleasantly surprised when we got our estimate back and it was much lower than we had anticipated, for cabinets that were well above the quality we were expecting, and had all of the bells and whistles that we wanted (soft close drawers, hinges, pull out spice racks, drawers, etc). Our experience with them was great. Yes, we had a few minor glitches, but all were resolved and followed up with very quickly and respectfully which if you ask me--is the important part. James Robbins helped us with our design and did a fantastic job. We are finding our cabinets to not only be of great quality, but great functionality. The design was perfect and again, the customer service from the company was stellar from start to finish. We would not hesitate to use again or to refer them to others. There is a reason they are doing many of the major home builders in the area's cabinets, they are clearly doing something right!

Had a new home built 2 years ago and the builder used Cabinets by Lawrence Construction. One year warranty is over so I didnt know how I was going to be treated. Had a few minor issues with some hinges due to normal wear and tear recently. The owner personally delivered them to me. No charge. I also worked with the shop/service manager named Tim. He had some hinges delivered to me as well. With out a doubt some of the best customer service I have experienced. I have dealt with alot of the subs who worked on this home but Cabinets By Lawrence far exceeded my expectations on how I was treated. Excellent customer service. They did not have to do what they did for me and they went well above and beyond. I would highly recommend them for any cabinet job, big or small. Great customer service!

We used James Lawrence Custom Cabinets in our new build. James was extremely responsive throughout the process. There was an issue with one of the design elements in our bathroom. A quick phone call to James and the issue was resolved. The customers’ happiness comes first at James Lawrence Custom Cabinets. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing cabinets. Our company switched to Custom Cabinetry by Lawrence Construction a few years ago and we have done well over 75 jobs with them by now and we have been very impressed! Our salesman, James Robbins, always stays on top of everything and he works great with our customers. Their 3D renderings are fantastic and they really help our customers visualize all of the customized jobs we do. Definitely recommend them.

Quality built cabinets. They take their time to make sure that clients get exactly what they ask for. Professional attitude, but relaxed enough to make you comfortable to talk with them. This really helps in communicating to ensure that every detail of the build is captured, then fully expressed and executed in the creation of the custom cabinets that are delivered. Awesome delivery guys, and installers. Professional, and very courteous. Willing to stop and explain things, or answer any questions you may have. I would recommend these guys to everyone I know, that are in the market for custom cabinets.

We had Lawrence Custom Cabinets design and make our cabinets for our kitchen, bathrooms and laundry/mudroom . Kim Cummings was amazing. So helpful and she used her years of experience to mention details we hadn't even considered. She was so patient and even found matching hardware in the style and finish we wanted to match in different sizes. Very pleased a top rated company in quality and customer service. .

We had custom cabinets designed and built for our new house. I had some pictures and James used those pictures to design the cabinets I wanted. He thought of all the details needed to make a beautiful kitchen. He made a custom bar that looks amazing. I highly recommend Lawrence Construction!

We echo Mr. McKeen review. We had a similar experience this spring. They were helpful with the design. They even came to take final measurements for build and then day before scheduled delivery; our contractor was informed they had not even started our cabinets and no delivery date was given. This has delayed our project by 60 days and we are seeking a reputable cabinet company to complete our project. Please be cautious and we recommend getting delivery date in written contract.
