It is not an exaggeration to say that our company would not be where we are today without Custom Fab. We started in 2020, making our product in our living room, and went through three different manufacturers in almost as many years. As a start-up, we knew there would be obstacles, but we didn't know how big of a hurdle finding a reliable manufacturer that produced quality pieces would be. We contacted Custom Fab in February of 2024, as our manufacturer at the time was not shipping product or returning our phone calls - a *very* scary place to be for a small business trying to fill orders in a timely manner. Ariel and his team understood our need for product, and fast, as we were about two months behind on fulfilling orders. He and the team at Custom Fab were so on it! It was only about 6 weeks from the time they received our raw materials to our first purchase order delivered - amazing! The service and communication we have since received is unrivaled; and we always receive clean, high quality units. The accuracy of their production is also very consistent. I can't say enough good things about Custom Fab and we look forward to working and growing with them in the future. We started a project 6 years ago with an idea of a backpack that did not exist. We launched Skili Gear at the 2024 Shot Show. We had a fantastic launch and opportunity to be part of a very special event in May of 2024 that show cased our gear. We kicked off the order end of Jan after confirming capacity and material ok with a March delivery (With previous supplier / NOT CUSTOM FAB). In April we were told they would not meet our deadline.
We did not accept as this would crush a new company launching into such a competitive and talented market. I reached out to Ariel Perez (Custom FAB Sales MGR) whom I had met at Shot Show, explained the situation and he agreed to give it a shot and help.
We shipped all material for the job from the East to West Coast where Ariel and his team went to work. Custom FAB went way out of the norm working overtime, weekends, and evening hand delivering to my hotel so I could hand carry back to meet the event deadline.
