Overall an easy hike. But there were some moderate elevation gains. Awesome views. You need to be aware of the tides so that you don’t get trapped.

About 500 ft of elevation gain in the way back up, and quite a bit of mud. Come prepared with good boots.
The tide pools are especially good with a negative tide, so check the forecast beforehand. If low tide is still positive, it’s not worth the hike. When it’s a negative low tide it’s amazing.

A nice hike down to the beach. There are a few muddy patches along the trail to navigate around, or through, and some steep drop offs that you must be careful with, but worth the hike to the scenic beach.

We love this trail, be mindful that it is steep and often muddy, but the end is so worth the work it takes. Pack water and wear good boots!

A good hiking option in Homer. The route tracks along bluffs above the creek and is mostly downhill to the coast then uphill back to the parking.

Did this hike 6 months pregnant and with a sleeping toddler in my carrier. AllTrails says it’s moderately difficult, but I found it fairly easy. There was a lovely woman who offered me her stick which came in handy due to the slippery muddy areas. I was grateful for the stick, so definitely bring one if you tend to slip on the wet rocks and mud. Bring a snack to enjoy on the rocky beach before heading back up.

Fun little hike, but the hike is a little confusing if you've never been there before. Multiple trails with no signage. I also don't recommend it if it's very wet. There is a spot on the trail that you have to hold a rope to pass, and it's dirt underneath. We took this with our young son, and it was a fun adventure.
