We just wrapped up our full dormer and are so glad we went with Dormer King! We interviewed almost every major company in the area and select DK based on recommendations from our local FB group as our town sees dormers often, cost of project being comparable to our second choice company, and time to complete being much shorter than anyone else. We lived in the house during the project with 3 very young boys so time to complete was one of the two biggest deciding factors for us. We had to pause the process early in the quotes stage due to a personal loss and I will never forget the kind words Tommy, an owner, shared when we told him why we wanted to pause. There was zero pressure or scare tactics used to continue then unlike some other vendors and that conversation is what sealed the decision for us once we were ready again.

Once we got the start date, the construction went fast. Angel and Blake were great project managers. Angel was so loved by our boys since he would always interact with them as soom as he arrived which was right around when they were heading to school. He showed them around when the curiosity got to them and made sure they basically had a red carpet treatment as they came home from school. Both Angel and Blake kept us in the loop of every stage and the crew works incredibly hard. They showed up on weekends when they expected bad weather, cleaned up after themselves so well, and let us know when things would get loud so we knew to leave home for that time. Blake was great with giving us suggestions since home building/designing is not our forte and we ended up going with pretty much all his recommendations.

We like that the back office team seems to do a great job with all the backend work too. Inspections and permits were happening in real time which definitely kept us on schedule. Annmarie and Lauren are great with email communication to keep us in the loop with our million questions. Tommy checked in often which we loved seeing and when we did run into an issue, he quickly listened to us and helped fix the concern.

Highly recommend Dormer King to anyone considering a renovation!

Dormer King? More like the king of cutting corners. If you use dormer king, make sure you get a guarantee, in writing, of how long their siding will last. When the siding on our house started to fade, they pushed us off until the siding went out of warranty and the company went out of buisness. That was their excuse to avoid helping us, when they used subpar materials.

A 10 foot piece of Fascia fell off the back of our house during a storm, and they lazily replaced it with ONLY 6 nails. And sure enough when that piece fell off they refused to replace it without charging us, even though it was their poor craftsmanship.

If you are thinking about using dormer king because they give you a good price, take my word for it and spend a little extra. DORMER KING DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK and will lead to nothing but headaches and cut corners.

Anthony, Blake and Frankie are some of the main team members who will help to bring all your construction dreams to reality. Construction is not an easy undertaking, but having these group of men for you, will certainly make your construction journey worthwhile! Even when the job is over, I assure you they are just a phone call away. Thank you Dormer King for creating a beautiful master suite and a luxurious kitchen for my family and I to enjoy.
