I bought a 2017 f550 last November. Corning Ford sent it to eagle iron works to have a gooseneck hitch installed. I have had problems with my trailer not wiring not working since. After having a guy work on it and narrowing the problem down to the truck we cut into the wiring that was installed by eagle iron works. We found splice connectors put on the original wiring of my 80k dollar pickup. My guy took all that out and made solder connections. Also on the plug installed by eagle they had a jumper wire between two lugs on the plug making two leads hot all the time. I called and spoke with Steve, the owner. After speaking with him he basically called me a liar. He said they never do a jumper wire like that. Apparently he stands over his guys and knows their every move. He also asked what I expect? Did I expect him to pay some guy for working on my truck? I said no, I'm not asking for anything, with a four letter word involved. I just said they should think about not using splice connectors. He said they have used them for 20 years with no problems. I said my truck was going back and forth from saying trailer connected to trailer disconnected. He said "so, my truck does that too." I told him my truck doesn't do it now that it's fixed. He said, "That's nice." Then hung up on me. Incredibly unprofessional. Horrible service. I buy new trucks every few years along with many friends. I have let corning Ford know about my experience and will continue to let any know who will listen.
