We had the absolute pleasure of working with Usry Alleyne for my daughter's bat mitzvah. And we wouldn't hesitate to hire Usry again to capture the joy and meaning of another special occasion in the future! Usry was great to work with, responded in a timely way to all email and phone communications and provided great suggestions about lighting during our pre-event run through prior to the big day. Most importantly, he captured all the important moments of my daughter's special day. He is definitely in his element as a photographer and his photos fully embraced the solemnity, ritual, joy and celebration of both the ceremony and the party that followed. We now have the most amazing memories for a lifetime thanks to Usry. He was the utmost professional throughout and is a lovely person to boot! All our thanks!

Usry takes some incredible, beautiful candid photos. I am not one for taking a lot of posed photos and get very frustrated during photography and it felt very effortless for him to capture the incredible energy of my wedding. My guests were all thrilled to work with him and enjoyed the energy he brought to the event. I highly recommend, Usry for any event where you really want to catch the natural energy. That is truly one of his exquisite talents.

We wanted to do a photoshoot at multiple murals around Oakland and he was happy to drive around with us and scout out locations. I hired Usry to shoot a backyard high school graduation party. From the beginning I sensed that he would be professional and easy to work with -- and I was right. I appreciate his relaxed demeanor and ability to capture the moments without interrupting.

We hired East Bay Photo to be our photographer for a once-in-a-lifetime family and friends gathering, and we couldn't have made a better choice! Usry blended seamlessly into the event (about 80 people in total!) and captured all the magic quite brilliantly.
