Early May trip right after the road opened, so plenty of parking and not crowded. It was an easy hike that you can make more challenging if you want. It was incredible to see the loss over time and glacial melt. Definitely recommend, the drive there itself is amazing.

This was a highlight of our honeymoon in October. Not so lush and bright on our days out there but the peaceful serenity was nice. The paths to the viewpoints were nice, one through the woods was fun and added a little difficulty, the other was a bit more stair like for ease. Just before we got to the viewpoint we found some bushes in a freezing puddle which made for some real cool pics. The view was great and well worth the journey!

This place is beautiful! I was here August 10th 2024. The rain was rolling in that day, so I got up early to get up to the iceharding field of Exit Glacier. I didn't quite make it to the emergency shelter, but I got very close before the Clouds rolled in, and the mountain tops disappeared, and then it started to rain. I would love to go back someday when it's a sunny day!

The hike to the glacier is both beautiful and very easy, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the glacier itself. The trails are well-marked, with informative signs that provide fascinating insights into the area’s geology and the effects of climate change. The glacier has been melted reducing most of its original size in a few decades due to climate change.

In the exit glacier overlook we can see the glacier but we weren't able to touch it as it's very far. Don't forget to bring binoculars to zoom and see and camera to capture pictures

If you allow yourself to step back in time, as you move past the markers that show the glacial activity, You really begin to connect to how swiftly these ice Giants are melting. Lovely stroll and walk-through the stone debris. The glacier has left behind.

Not only was this a great trail but we got to see a moose as well! Beautiful area and amazing wildlife!

Most of the trail is quite easy and has decent views, you can hike up further to get closer to the glacier, but the best view we got was actually on the road.

I also enjoyed the markers along the way indicating how far the glacier has receded, it made for an impactful visual!

There are four trails ... one to the riverbed ... one easy trail to a viewpoint ... one moderate trail to a higher viewpoint with some Boulder scrambling ... and then an upper trail that was closed for avalanche danger when I was there in mid-June ... Beautiful scenery!
