Love this place for high quality meat selections. The bread and butter roast is by far my favorite roast I have ever had from anywhere. I spoke with Randy one of their butchers and his high knowledge of different cuts and why the meat tastes different from cut to cut was incredibly impressive. Randy thank you so much for your explanation today I have been going to butcher shops for 2 decades and never had one explain to me in detail like you were able to today.

Big fan of this place! They have everything you could need in a small space. Alcohol, vegetables, fruits, meats, drinks and snacks galore! We love the quality of their meats and the selection is huge! They always have sales so it all very well priced. 11/10!

So I go for a good ribeye for on the grill tonight for a special dinner. Not only did the guy behind the counter not understand what I wanted, I get home to find this. I wanted a 1" thock ribeye. I used to cut meat and stood in those shoes. I would never have let this leave the establishment as a $24.99 cut of steak. I certainly hope they cook better than they look. Very disappointing. I should have walked away after he put them on the scale.

This place is amazing and has so much variety to choose from when shopping or dining here. I wish I could stop in more often. I highly recommend stopping in. They have the best of everything.

First time here and this place did NOT feel welcoming at all! You cannot just walk in and shop you have to be watched like a hawk and given access through the isles. It felt like I was at a night club trying to get in I'm surprised I didn't get pat down lol. I guess some customers don't mind the control under the guise of customer service. Inside the store smelled like wet dog. I'm from NYC and have been to MANY meat markets this by far has been to worse

The store has tons of meats/ cheeses/ fish you name it! Plus alcohol! Very good prices with a lot of verity to choose from!
Also You order inside and Take the receipt out to the food truck style trailer
I recommend the burnt end sandwich with sweet sauce (blues hog) and the mcgoo fries!! Top 5 bbq stops in kc for sure.
