This morning on 10/29/24 I was in contact with the office about a financial hardship and asked if I could extend the payment date a few days and I’ll pay in full. Well at first they said yes that is fine and got approved. Well come home to no water so much for the communication.

I believe I've already left a post before but just a new update for some reason there's an extra charge on my bill when I call to pay over the phone It doesn't reflect the same that's on my bill. I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation but I can't even get a hold of someone because when you push two to reach a representative it says invalid input. Then if you push one to make a payment it says if you want to reach a representative to hit *9# and then it pretty much says I can't process that either so just kind of interesting how you can't get a hold of anyone. It just seems like no matter what they do this place can't get it together. Just an update from the last post phone service still down can't actually get a hold of anyone and I seem to be receiving my bill late like some of the other people ? so at least they're consistent I guess consistently bad.

I have had no issues with Foothills utilities.
My auto pay is working smoothly. My rates only slightly increased.
I find their website informative.
I appreciate the alert info on water outages.
I can only imagine the dilapidated system they bought from Far West and appreciate the efforts they are making to repair and up date the system.

The communication with this company is absolutely terrible. Not to mention you are not allowed to go in person to mitigate any issues or payments you may have. I have used this company for two years now and have nothing good to say about them.

They need to sell to someone who knows how to run this business.
Never received notices.
Emailed only when past due already, and always the day payment is needed before they shut it off, Or the day after. Won’t set up auto pay with untrustworthy businesses. I hate thieves, and that’s what I think of them.

Wow! Extremely unprofessional! We hadn't been receiving our paper bills and hadn't realized our account was overdue for payment. I was prompted to go to the site for assistance when our water wasn't working tonight. We noticed on the website that it was "shutoff" due to nonpayment. We immediately paid it, because we had no idea and would never purposefully not pay a bill. I then called the number for the 24/7 emergency services to turn our water on, because my four kids need their baths and my hard working husband (who works in the hot arizona sun all day crawling under everyones houses and attics), and they said that we'll have to call in the morning - that they can't help us. The excuse was that the account was still deliquent until tomorrow (LIES)! On our end on the website, we can see that payment had already been accepted and our account was made current. I wish we had another company to choose from. We are extremely unhappy with the service. F them! Seriously f them. My poor husband.

The worst customer service ever! The billing department is incompetent!!! We have been waiting on a check for the credit that was on my parents account for almost 6 months now. My parents moved from Yuma to Seattle in September of 2023 it is now February of 2024. I have heard every excuse under the sun from Foothills Utilities as to why the have not recieved the $280+ check. 4 of those months were "yeah we've issued the check we are just waiting for it to be mailed out to you." Now for the last 6 weeks it's been "we mailed it but it came back to us" if someone there will actually do their job and follow through with something we may actually recieve this check in 2024. But I'm not holding my breath, this company is a joke!! And from the other 1☆ reviews this isn't just a one off and we are the exceptions. When you can't get anything more that a 1☆ it's time to figure out that you are running an horrible company. Do better Foothills Utilities!!
