Safe place to store your things. I’ve never felt uncomfortable even when I’ve been by myself. The temperature regulated units are very clean and they provide multiple carts to carry your things to your unit easily.

We kept our belongings at Forbes for a couple of months. You have to put in your code to open the gate to get into where the lockers are, that you put your own lock on. There was an issue once where we were charged double, but it was quickly fixed with no problems from staff. The aisles are hard to turn at the ends which is the only negative thing I have to say. I felt my belongings were very secure here.

I have stored my belongings with Forbes Storage since 2015, so almost 3 years. They have amazing customer service and very affordable!

Throughout the whole time that I stored my belongings with them they were always so helpful and understanding. I remember one year I had to change the locks on my storage unit so that my old roommate didn’t have access to it anymore, so I called them and I had asked them if they could replace the lock on the unit and then save a key on their end and mail me the other key and they did that with no problem at all. Most recently they helped me get some belongings out of my storage unit and back to me down in the lower 48 which I was so thankful for because I needed some things out of there ASAP and she communicated with me the whole time and packed up my stuff and sent me pictures along the way it was really so kind of her (Sharon) and not something that they normally had to do. I am so grateful for Sharon and all of the Forbes storage staff for helping me but also for the wonderful customer service over the years and if for whatever reason I find myself in Alaska again or needing to store something this will definitely be the place that I go to because they care about their customers and are always willing to lend a helping hand .

We rented a unit at Forbes when we first PCS'd to Alaska from Arizona. I honestly dont think I have met nicer people. They gave us a great unit, they keep the facility very clean, and I felt 100% good that my household good were secure. Since 2008, I have referred my of my husbands co-workers as well as my clients to Forbes.
