Went on one of the first tours of this location. Cool crew. Because it's an early tour I felt like I was on a tour with friends.
Im definitely a nerd so I was into it. The tastes at the end were excellent. Seeing the big tanks breath and chatter through bubbles like they were alive from the yeast consumption was likely my favorite part.

This was an open house and party in conjunction with the Friend of the Lawrence Area Trails (FLAT) at the Free State bottling plant. The plant is immediately adjacent to the Burroughs Trail at 19th street. They were gracious hosts. The plant is not normally a public venue, but I believe you can arrange a tour.

I just come here once or twice a month with a group at my work place but other than than the no a/c it's a really fun place. I just bottle for orders but if your used the smell of beer it's pretty nice.

Good in general but since it is very loud, I guess the acustics are really bad in there and it is not a good place to chat with your friends...unless you want to be screaming at each other haha
