From Chan is my new go to for a little sweet treat or savory breakfast sandwich. EVERYTHING is made in house. Even the unique coffee flavorings! We had the bisquits and gravy special the other day and it was the best we’ve ever had. Zoey is very knowledgeable at the counter and is able to answer all of our questions and makes excellent recommendations. Chan makes everything with love. We will certainly be back!

The food and drinks are phenomenal! My friend and I came in and practically ordered half of the pastry display. The ube custard and blueberry danish were delicious, the in-house made Thai tea was so good, and they offer day olds at 50% that feel like they were freshly made. There are more items than just this that we got, but it’s all worth buying. And everything was reasonably priced! Paid a little over $50 for 7 items!

This new bake shop is absolutely PHENOMENAL, and it should be everyone’s new go-to breakfast/lunch/pastry place! I got the spam special, the pandan, and a few other little pastries, and everything was so completely delicious. You can tell it’s all expertly homemade with lots of love and skill. The coffee was amazing, I got a regular hot coffee with the brown butter flavoring, and I have to say it’s the best coffee I’ve ever had. Chan makes the flavorings HERSELF, no syrups here- SO MUCH BETTER than any other corporate coffee chain and well worth every penny. Do your part and support an EXCELLENT local business, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Chan! I’ll be back soon!♥️♥️

Delicious, unique options, all homemade by the lovely owner and baker Chan and her staff. She and her staff made us feel so welcome, and told us all about the interesting options and delightful specialties. They freshly bake all pastries every morning, many of which are some of the best I’ve tasted. We tried a milk donut filled with custard and strawberries and a pandan tarte, both were amazing and well worth the price. They also offer breakfast and lunch options, both of which we tried and were happily surprised by the generous portions and amazing flavors. They also give away samples for customers to try, which is what sold us on the pandan tart, and we each got coffees with their tasty homemade flavors. I’d recommend brown butter cookie:) everything was prepared within 10-15 minutes and we sat in their beautiful seating area for over an hour just enjoying our food. I’d highly recommend this place to any local customers, it’s so much nicer than any other chain coffee spot around and well worth it to support this beautiful and unique local business!

I’ve been looking forward to this place opening up for a while, and I must confess to being of the crowd who thought this was going to be a Chinese-style bakery with buns and pastries, and was initially disappointed to see this was not the case.

That being said, Chan’s blew all of my forgone expectations out of the water!! Asian fusion was the name of the game with both their sweets and savory breads (both made in house each day), and those that we tried did not disappoint in the least bit.

I highly, HIGHLY recommend the fried chicken sandwich which featured the softest, juiciest, and crunchiest chicken I’ve ever had in CT, and that’s not an exaggeration. Accessorized with bacon strips, greens, and crunchy red cabbage strips, I ended up sandwiching it on the focaccia bread which was the perfect complement to the variety of textures already present. The special blend of tangy sauces was the best little bow on top, and I hope more people end up loving it like me and my family did!!

Absolutely delicious pastries, sandwiches, and coffee. The menu is ever evolving and each time we stop in we’re met with smiles and friendly greetings. You can tell that Chan puts her heart and soul into every offering. Today we had a chocolate chip banana muffin, ham and cheese croissant sandwich, milk bread doughnut with mango chutney and vanilla cream, a dirty chai latte, and a fortune cookie flavored coffee. Absolutely fantastic food, atmosphere, and people.

Fantastic food! The blackberry cinnamon roll was amazing and the Double Asian sandwich was perfect! Highly recommend and will be making this on of my usual places for breakfast. Coffee variety was great as well. People super friendly and helpful (including the customers!)
