This is the Ghilotti company you want- not GBC- whether you need a job done well, or are looking for a career. It seems like most of the low reviews are people who are frustrated by paving or other construction projects in their area. I think thatas Nextdoor shows that no one likes construction near them but we also are frustrated by potholes and crappy roads. Construction is just annoying, loud, and disruptive but if you want to have it done correctly the first time go with GCC. I know folks in the construction world and this is the Ghilotti you want!

Absolutely atrocious traffic control measures, often times with complete failure to post road closure signs, and often failing to use proper distancing for lane closures. They consistently drive equipment outside of the work area with no pilot vehicles and have made getting around Ukiah a nightmare.

Most unprofessional and unreliable company I’ve experienced. (I didn’t hire them)
They are supposed to be paving my street.
Weeks and weeks asking us to find somewhere else to park (hundreds of tenants)
And they don’t even show up for the scheduled project.
Towing cars, and inconveniencing everyone!
Ghilatti, please get it together and be more professional and organized please!

I’m not sure if anyone ever answers the phone here, but I am writing to express extreme frustration. There has been an underground project continuing for a month or two longer than originally scheduled on Mission Blvd and Quigg Drive. There are metal plates covering large holes that are not placed quietly. Whenver any small or large car drives over the metal plates they bounce up and down. It sounds like bombs are going off all night as we’re trying to sleep. It’s insanely inconsiderate. If you read these reviews, have your team fix it! I’m reaching a boiling point in delirium. The City of Santa Rosa is next.

Very slow with their construction and doesn't keep it equal when letting cars go. And let's one side go and makes the other sit for over 15 minutes at a time and the other go and let all the cars go while the other side gets less than a quarter of the line go through. And their flaggers are very rude and disrespectful and don't know what they are doing. This is the 5th time this week this exact thing has happened and we moved for about 10 seconds and our line is already stopped and the other line is moving.

About a year ago a careless driver from Ghilotti misjudged his moving into my lane, too close, nowhere for me to go and he caused over $4,000 worth of damage to my car- the drag was that Ghilotti didn't just own up right away even tho driver admitted immediately to he in the wrong! They fought it- and they Lost! Scumbags! MW
