Never seen such a high quality of buses in my life. I rode both the Phantoms and the Advantages and they are the best buses I have ever ridden. The guys who works at this plant are very talented to build such a great bus.

Worst place ever. Delivery waiting time 4 hours + , no matter how many pallets you have. This company needs many more employees for receiving department, one person cannot serve dozens of trucks. In the outer yard big mass, everything is so covered with spare parts that there is no place to turn around truck or turn back to the loading dock to unload. Plus many trucks block entry and exit for unloading. I have unloaded here dozens of times during the last five years, this problem is not solved and worsens every year. I have been waiting from the very morning until 3:00 in the afternoon today, and no one has yet unloaded me. Now i am late for next schedule delivery and pick up.
Worse workers, forklift drivers very unfriendly, they don't even want to answer questions, forklift guy with pierced ear.

I drive transit buses. I would like a driver's seat that can have the cushions replaced more often with out replacing the complete assembly of the seat($4000?). Especially the in/out side, that gets the most wear & tear.
Maybe a kit that has the parts that are not metal?

25yrs of service so far... been a great place for me to work as a design engineer. Nobody builds a better or more reliable transit bus than Gillig. Lots of great people to work with too.

Delivered a load today 6/13/24
Very nice guy unloading me, told me how to check in and all.. Got here at 12:20pm was unloaded by 12:50pm
