This film lot is right on the edge of the 30 miles zone (TMZ) making it cost-effective for Los Angeles Productions who need outside farm locations.

One of the more notable times it has been used in television, is its frequent appearance as the Bartlett family’s New Hampshire farm in The West Wing.

While some people believe that the television show M*A*S*H was shot here, it was in fact shot at Malibu Creek State Park.

Beautiful place to film at, but beware, they set the speed limit around the ranch as 15 mph, but when you are doing exactly that speed, they complain that you are going too fast. ? Ridiculous.

Well kept and a long hike. I enjoyed the scenic walk with the covered trails. The place burned a while back, but it's still worth seeing.

Kind of hard to get into, had a chance to be an extra for DWTS on the season opener dance number.
