Bought a Juki surge 4-thread. It arrived with the machine noticeably tilted with front higher than back and the narrow portion of upper table door didn’t line up with the back part of table. Adjusted the lower table to bring it level then the door of upper table wouldn’t close hit the front plate of machine. Only solution from Goldstartools was to re-tilt the machine. Multiple calls and emails with pictures of the problem to Ilia then David who would assure me he would get back to me “in an hour” but would never call nor email. I’m sure they just don’t care, they know it’s complicated to get your money back on a defective product like this. Left with a $2200 mess. Wouldn’t recommend dealing with this company for anything. No honor in making sure you get what you pay for - all we wanted was a properly set up new machine. Not what we got. THEY DON’T CARE — see you later sucker is their approach.

I called Gold Star Tools because I couldn’t get the promo code to work. It didn’t apply to the purchase but they were kind enough to give it to me anyway. They answered all my questions and reassured me that if I had any problems or questions in the assembly to give them a call. I placed the order on Monday my Juki was here on Wednesday! I've been wanting a Juki Du-1181n walking foot sewing machine for a long time. My wish came true on St.Patrick's day 2021! David and his crew at Golden Cutting and sewing gave me such an affordable price I could not believe it! He even added all the extra goodies like needles, thread, bobbins, external bobbin winder, lamp, and oil. He demontrated to me all the tips and tricks and gave me time alone with the machine to practice a bit before his crew loaded it for my husband and me into the back of our truck for the drive home. We really felt like he treated us with his best effort and we are thankful! I added the roses to my machine when we arrived home. I love it! Thank you so much !

RUN FROM THIS BUSINESS!

I have purchased a brand new cover stitch from this people. During the order process David was super nice and accommodating.
After I received the machine and opened the box I immediately saw that machine arrived broken. I sent photos of broken parts and dents to David. He apologized and said that he will send me a new machine right away - “Great!”, I thought at that time.

BUT! Two weeks passed and no machine was sent with non-stop promises and excuses from David. He said it was shipped, I asked to provide me a tracking number - no response after that. David disappeared and stopped responding to my calls and messages.

UPDATE:
David just called me and yelled saying that he never talked to me and had no messages from me whatsoever. And told me that I must return their machine that I stole.

I never in my life experience this type of customer service.

I ordered a presser foot for hemming and it showed a picture of the closed foot with the slit on the side. I received a regular foot and when I called them I was asked if I could use it anyway. I called again and was told they would see if they have the correct one and there was no need to return the one sent that wasn't what I ordered. I got a email saying they didn't have what I wanted and they would refund me after I drive 20 miles to ship it back. I will never order from them again. Very unprofessional business.

I am a small sewing machine manufacturer and I ordered an initial run of five heavy balance wheels from Gold Star Tool. The wheels arrived on time and as scheduled. The belts sent were unusable as they are of a white plastic like material not compatible with the cogged gears of both the balance wheel and the motor pulley. The crank handles were cut and machined improperly, they also do not fit or work at all. I've spent hours doing the legwork to fabricate new handles and source usable rubber belts. I contacted Jesse via email and phone as soon as the issue became evident, and was assured Gold Star would take care of the issues. Gold Star has stopped responding. Very unhappy, and I'd certainly mentioned that I'd need more wheels and larger orders in the future. Do not recommend.
