If there was an option to give a zero star, I would’ve chosen that. The Goodwill here in Garden City is embarrassing. First of all, they only have a return policy on electronics within seven days, for exchanges only. They will not allow you to return any other clothing items, etc., even if you have the receipt and the tags are still on the items.
Furthermore, this is supposed to be a Goodwill where families are able to buy clothes at a reasonable and or very discounted price. I personally don’t think spending 8, 9, or $10 on a shirt that I could buy at Walmart on sale for the same price is very “Goodwill.”
I donate hundreds of dollars of clothing each year to the store here in town, and I know many other people that do as well and to charge these types of prices for families who are in need is disgusting. I went to the Goodwill in Nebraska three hours north of here last weekend and the highest priced Women’s pants were $4.99.
I am encouraging everyone Garden City to stop donating and/or shopping at Goodwill and support the Salvation Army.

Extremely expensive!!! Shoes cloths everything in general … you will find better prices at Ross , and new ones.
These company is totally out of control and people are so naive that keep donating to them.

This goodwill has soooo much potential but I feel like management or just the store in general doesn’t try very hard to make this a cool place like i’ve seen at 30 other goodwills. the pricing is actually ridiculous, I picked up a cute little tank top that was a very low end brand and it said 11.99 I literally laughed out loud. i don’t know if it was a miss print but almost everything in there is so insanely priced especially for them getting everything for free. I sometimes find a lot of nice things but the pricing is ridiculous and it has so much more potential!!

The red hair manager is racist and rude to anyone that speaks a different language. She’s very nasty/mean and unprofessional! I think Sarah was her name.

We made a special stop just to go to goodwill today. We were instantly screamed at by the clerk who had customers at the counter to put a mask on. I am medically exempt and my daughter and Grandaughter would have put one on if asked politely. So rude and umproffesional. I will speak badly of this goodwill from now on.

unfortunately my brother-in-law went in to see if they had any broches, which his mother collects, for a birthday gift. they had a few on display, but the better broches were hidden under the checkout counter. A young man employee showed the "hidden jewellery" to my brother and was repremanded by some older woman supervisor. that's not goodwill, when a supervisor repremands a young man for showing customers what they have been donated. may the young Hispanic man now become the supervisor, and the older lady, who knows who she is, now find a new job of more struggle by her actions on the shoulders of those who donate. I've donated for years, but no more. sorry mostly for the young man that was shot down by his supervisor for showing hidden donated items.
