Price was in the middle, not the most expensive or the cheapest bid. Quality of work outstanding, especially Domingo and the gentleman he normally works with. Cons: Communication with owner could be improved. When workers will arrive and extra charges that owner knows will come up in the job but doesn’t let you know about till you are part way through the job and committed. It would be nice to know up front about the extra charges. Overall happy with the job and people. I would use again but next time slow down and really make sure I ask a lot of questions so not surprised with extra charges. I.e. what other charges will need to be paid that are common in a job like this?

Grand Building built our dream home in Wittmann. The new build took about 9 months. Michelle & John were so kind to provide us with regular updates along the way and even allowed us to make adjustments to their plans which turned our dreams into a reality. Our realtor and this company made building a home easy and exciting. I have never experienced working with a team that made you feel like family. I was so grateful they invited us to the "roof on" party because we got to meet the talented & kind team that built our home. Towards the end of the build during our walk through, we only found 1 light switch that didn't work which was easily fixed. I was so impressed with the final piece. Its easy to see that the Grand Building team is a team that takes pride in their work and their level of professionalism. I HIGHLY recommend this team to all family and friends looking to build a new house or remodel their current home.

Grand building gets 5 stars. I had water damage in my kitchen had to remove the bottom cabinets and granite countertops. I met with John to discuss my options I wanted my kitchen back to its original look with my cabinets matching my exiting upper cabinets. Grand building did a awesome job with my kitchen. Great pricing and world class craftsmanship. John was very professional and delivered. Thank you again John.

Called to get an estimate on a project, John was out of town which was understandable. He called a week later and we set up an appointment. 45 minutes after the appointment time came I called to see if he was even coming. Talking with him he was quite rude and really doesn’t understand customer service. I understand things happen but a call saying he would be late or asking to reschedule would be the norm. If getting a quote is this difficult and unpleasant, can’t imagine what a construction issue would lead to.

Grand Building and Remodeling, John Martinez, did an excellent job on our building project which consisted of an additional room to our home (combo bedroom/laundry room with cabinets) and an attached single car garage. John was open to our choices, he followed up regularly, he had a clear and precise contract, and finished our project in a timely manner. He also came back after the project was completed (and paid for) to correct a small issue. We had gotten 3 estimates and Grand was in the middle cost wise but we chose Grand Building because John was the most professional. We are glad we did and we'll definitely hire Grand Building again when we have another project.

John and his staff were fantastic!! John and staff built new commercial restrooms for our wedding and event venue in Surprise and I am so glad we chose Grand Building. We had a 14’ x 16’ addition put on the house this year. We put the project out for bids to three different contractors. Grand was the only contractor that gave us a detail bid proposal. We then met with the owner and after a few good suggestions from him we enter into a final contract.
We were completely satisfied with the workmanship of this project. The employees were always courteous and helpful. We were kept informed of the progress of the project. It did take a little longer than we expected, but this was due to supply issues and the Maricopa county permit process not the contractor.
He had told us up front about the county's slow process and to expect about 3 months just for that. They did everything possible to minimize any supply issues.
The room turned out just as we expected!
