I haven’t been in this shop for a couple years, as I moved up to Fairbanks.

On the way down to Anchorage I stopped through the other day and was blown away at how much they’ve expanded the storefront has expanded, and how many blades they’ve added to inventory.

The staff are all super nice and very courteous… and they have a ton of knowledge about the knives they’re selling.

No-pressure experience, and happy to show you anything you’d like to look at.

Awesome store with some of the best selections of both production knives and custom makers I've seen. There is a lack of a few brands...I didn't see any Leatherman or CRKT for example...but they more than make up for it with more obscure brands like Kizer and Bestech that you won't find anywhere else except online. Overall, a great shop with tons of selection and prices that aren't wildly marked up.

GNK is a fantastic local store that you love to support. Jeff and his team are extremely knowledgeable and very customer service oriented - showing you around and talking through questions with you without any pressure.

I needed some kitchen knife and hatchet sharpening and wish I hadn't waited so long to get it done given the excellent work, very reasonable pricing, super quick turn-around, and all-around first rate experience. The hatchet was being cleaned up for an employee, but Jeff did such a nice job on it I decided to keep it myself and buy a nice little Gerber made in Finland for the employee instead - and had a great discussion him about the various brand options and their manufacturing details as well.

It's always a pleasure to work with people who know what their doing, enjoy it, and appreciate their customers. Great job guys!
