Hi would you like having four guys weed whacking at 4:00 AM righ outside your bedroom window? We live on a RESIDENTIAL street in downtown Mystic.

I got up, got dressed and went out to speak the the crew. Response “we had to wake up so should you”

I hate what Mystic has evolved into over the past few years. Horrible leadership and out of control commercial development.

We live in the “historic district” where the commission has openly stated “we are not here to preserve the past, rather we are developing the town in a manner that will evolve into the historic Mystic of the future”

Thanks but it was a much better place to live a few years back when the town respected the residents.

Now we’ve become a honky tonk town of bars that over serve and over crowd with no one doing anything to reign it in.

Terrible landfill policies. Town makes it a serious pain to use the landfill if you are a resident and do not own your own truck. Extra paperwork, extra time, extra hassle...for no apparent reason. Counting the days until I can get the hell out of Groton.

Absolutely disgusting litter issue, the worse I've seen in all of new england where I travel regularly throughout, with no attempt to clean it by the town or to even prevent it with maybe some garbage barrels placed throughout the areas with a high amt of pedestrians. Walker Hill off of rt 12 where many use, to walk from and to the Gold Star Bridge, is a complete garbage pit. It was mowed this week with all of the garbage left behind and chopped up. Shameful. No one has any pride in this town, not even those who run it and claim to. If they did, it wouldn't be such a dump. An utter cesspool and downright disgraceful. Smh.

Rediculous to have this closed Mon, Tues, Wed. Insulting to raise the fees from $80/yr to $140 per year. Shameful town government. CT ranks FIRST in the fifty states for taxes and fees..... Incredible....

We appreciate the give and take area to leave things that are usable to someone and to find treasures occasionally.
