I had an excellent experience with Guilford Fence Works. Louis provided the estimate. He asked detailed questions to confirm what I wanted and suggested features I had not thought of, such as adding a gate to another side. He had smart solutions to placement around a tree and had no issue cutting overgrowth to get the fence through—other companies said I would have to clear the way for them. I felt he listened to my concerns (uneven land, gaps, timeline) and explained how they would be addressed.
MJ and his team are wonderful! They seem like friendly guys that have been doing this for years. They laid lines and went over the plans again: the entire experience was very hands on, which is what I had wanted.
They removed overgrowth.
They filled gaps and kept the yard clean.
They started the project quickly and finished when they said they would.
I have a quality fence installed by an excellent family company. I am very pleased and so are my neighbors!

I hired Paul 3 years ago to put up my fence. He came out to Woodbridge from Guilford. He did a fabulous job. Several months ago a tree fell on my fence. Paul is still promising me that he will come out and fix it after 11 phone calls and no show. It has been several months, I'm still waiting. He had no problem installing the fence and taking my money but god forbid you have a repair he wont show. I find him to be unprofessional, unreliable and full of lies. I do not recommend him or his company.

Ordered an arbor to hold concord grape vines and paid a deposit of 1K. The work was delayed and delayed. Finally we decided to cancel the job. I was promised but NEVER repaid my deposit despite multiple calls

I was so impressed with Guilford Fenceworks. I recently bought a house and really needed/wanted a fence for the backyard to keep my dogs safe. I called the big box stores and even some of the smaller guys and they all told me it was going to be at least 12 weeks to get something installed. I then reached out to Guilford Fenceworks. They came out the next day to measure the yard and by the end of the day I had an estimate in hand and the cost was very reasonable. I asked how long it would take and they told me they could have it installed the next week. They make the fences in their shop which drastically cuts down on the time it takes to build and install it. The team showed up next week and actually came out a couple days earlier. They were professional, friendly,, clean and efficient. The fence was installed in 2 days and it looks amazing. I couldn't be happier. Do yourself a favor and ditch the big box stores and use Guilford Fenceworks. You won't regret it.

I recently had a vinyl and chain link fence installed by Guilford Fenceworks. After being referred to them by customers of my own, I met with Paul and he measured up my yard and very patiently answered a slew of questions I had. I was given a quote right then and there. With three quotes in hand, I decided to go with Guilford and can not express enough how happy and satisfied I am with the job. The installers were respectful, thorough and professional.
