When we decided to tear down walls and completely change the layout of our home in order to make our open floorplan vision a reality, selecting a general contractor to whom we would ultimately entrust our home was a huge decision that we didn't take lightly. We needed to find a company that understood our goals, one capable and skilled enough to help us achieve our vision while also recognizing that we would be living in the space while it was under renovation. When we first shared our vision with Tony from Guppy Construction LLC, we immediately knew that we had found a contractor who would be fully committed to our project. His knowledge, talent, and level of professionalism were evident from the start, and we felt confident he would treat our home as though it were his own. Tony was an excellent communicator, and the teamwork displayed on site was amazing. We were always kept informed of progress, he and his team arrived on time each day, and the entire project from start to finish moved so quickly and effortlessly. And the entire time, everyone was friendly and smiling. We could not believe the speed of the transformation as the Guppy Construction crew worked like a well-oiled machine to remove walls, add additional structural support where needed, cut in and install new windows, extend hardwood flooring to match the rest of the living space, set up electrical wiring, add lighting and venting, prep walls and ceilings for new cabinets, etc. The project took only 2.5 weeks, and the finished product is absolutely amazing! We have received so many compliments on our new layout and dream kitchen. Entrusting our home to Tony and the Guppy Construction team was definitely one of the best decisions we have made, and we look forward to future projects with them. Guppy Construction built a deck for us. The entire experience was a pleasure. Mr. Guppy’s team was accommodating and did excellent work. He worked hard to make sure the final product was exactly what we wanted even when it delayed his schedule. He came up with several excellent design suggestions that made the deck look better than we imagined. He did a high quality job paying attention to detail and cleaned up all construction debris. It was our first experience with this company (recommended by a neighbor), but we would definitely use them again if we need work done.
Be prepared to wait because he stays busy, but it is worth the wait!
