This is a great theater! The seats are comfortable and all offer a great view. Parking is convenient. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had a great time and will definitely return for more performances.

Absolutely phenomenal performance of A Christmas Carol! The lights, the special effects, the costumes, the sounds, the acting…it was all on a Broadway level. But this theater is small and intimate, there’s not a bad seat in the house. Parking is also very convenient. I can’t wait to come back for another show! 10/10

We bought season tickets because we absolutely love The Hartford Stage. It is a small and intimate theater. I have not been disappointed by the plays we have seen. We will definitely buy another season’s worth of tickets.

We saw A Christmas Carol today and everyone did an excellent job. Allen Gilmore was a great Ebenzer Scrooge. Patrick and John-Michael were outstanding in their parts. Especially John-Michael as the ghost of Christmas Present. First time here, first stage play for me. The set was great. Love the intimate stage. The entire cast did very good at representing a timeless classic. Costumes, lighting, sound, effects were all very well done.

Although the stage isn't very big, the play was really great! We watched A Christmas Carol and it was a great experience. Good acting, funny moments, cool effects. Will be coming again soon!

Saw a Christmas Story (my granddaughter was Tiny Tim)
It was phenomenal! The cast and their personage was outstanding. The facility was clean, organized, very beautiful. I highly recommend a visit to Hartford Stage.

This scrooge and cast is amazing!!!! They were so gracious to take photos afterwards and really influenced a bidding actress, our granddaughter! We've been a subscriber for years and for a reason, always professional and plenty powder rooms! Great Otster Bay white wine and snacks. Everyone is helpful including headphones for our son for auditorial sensitivities. Couldn't ask for a better 🎄 eve.

Unforgettable experience!
Very talented actors and amazing decorations and awesome play.
The prices are okay (60-90$ for adults)but it is totally worth the spent money.
There are a lot of kids who take part of play. And they do it so good so I have no idea how adults train those kids but it is so interesting to watch their play.
The costumes are adorable. I am amazed by this wonderful Christmas Carol play and wish to come to Hartford again with my kids in future.
