A wonderful fourth of July weekend could have been ruined without the help of Bryce at Heavy Metal Fab Worx.

Our drive line poked a hole in our aluminum extended gas tank going up one of the passes. No one in Silverton or Telluride would touch it. Luckily I was able patch it up with some JB weld and duct tape with the help of some fellow wheelers and found Bryce. My rig made it to Durango and Bryce helped me drain the tank and drop it.

He had all the skills and equipment to do the job to purge the tank fill it with inert gases and weld it back up. The big van is back in action and on the road again for another adventure. Thanks Bryce for saving the day!

I highly recommend Bryce to other wheelers. He is a smart guy who knows how to fix the problems we make for ourselves by maybe having a little too much fun!

I have an older in bed hitch system that is no longer made and I needed a ball hitch mount that fit the existing footprint. Bruce built me a solid low profile H bracket with ball and chain loops. The other issue we found was that the older system doesn’t sell any of the hold down clamps anymore, so Bryce made new ones. Couldn’t be happier I didn’t have to replace the whole system and my fifth wheel hitch and gooseneck hitch both work in the same mount. Heavy Metal Fab Worx does a great job and I will definitely use them whenever I have fabrication needs.

Excellent experience. The larger project was a Hemi swap on a Jeep Rubicon and this was no easy job. He always had a solution to the never ending problems. His welding and machining skills are beyond the norm. Expertise like this is hard to find these days.
