We moved to town a few years ago and thought this store was really decent. It was just convenient and economical enough for those last minute things you didn’t get at the grocery. If there was a turnover in ownership, you can definitely tell. The place is dull, there’s no life to it, prices skyrocketed and it’s definitely not as clean. it seems that the owners don’t care about cleanliness. It’s kind of sad because there’s a lot of potential with it. The deli could also be cleaner. Unsure of safety measures taken back there. And if the owners were smart, they could clean it up and make a door to go out to the parking lot with comfortable seating and lights, and perhaps add a coffee bar or something. The owners really need to step up because my business is not going there as much as it used to… Sorry!

I recently visited the store and had an extremely disappointing experience. I bought several items, only to discover when I got home that most of them were expired some by several weeks, others by months. It's frustrating to see a store care so little about product quality and customer safety. I won't be returning and highly advise others to double check their purchases if you do.

New owners don't seem to care much for the business or the customers. The staff always seem bothered to help with anything and the aisles are cluttered with boxes. Store is usually pretty dirty and unkept, and I wouldn't touch the deli counter with a 10' pole. I wish it was better because it's a convenient spot but man, there is a lot left to be desired.

Great place to buy ground meat in bulk. They sell it at $2.99 for 3 or more pounds. I buy 25lbs at a time . I vacuum seal it packages of 1 , 2 & 3 lb sizes. It will last for months

Even though I live a way aways from the Market, I love to shop there. It's a small market with beautiful organic produce, organic products, a meat market display filled with eye candy for the carnivore. The employees and the owner are very personable, friendly and helpful. The shopping experience there takes me back to a time when shopping meant going to the local market, not some huge cookie cutter mega mart you could get lost in.
I recommend this gem to anyone looking for quality..not quantity.

Was looking for Tucson Tamales, which Higganum carries. Other people talk about a packed store with many choices. They are right. You could spend a lot of time walking the aisles and find something new around the next corner. The deli is great and there are even small prepared meals. Definitely worth visiting. Also adequate parking.

Small and has a lot of go to items. Hit or miss with Fresh produce. Fair priced. Fair Customer Service. Nice selection deli.
It is full and all space utilized, plus some!!
