High Definition Solar has been great to work with. They were amazing when we first installed, the sizing of our system has been 100% on point and they have always been extremely fast in their customer service. We recently had an issue that needed to be addressed and they were very responsive. Joel coordinated everything and Clint and Guillermo were on site handling everything on a very timely and professional basis. I appreciate how they handled the whole process. Very collaborative and great to work with. I highly recommend this company!

We had HD Solar do a big install for us in Richmond California. They did a great job, very professional, and we love saving huge amounts of money of electricity now! Plus, no more power outages due to the big battery backup system. Great company!

Called left messages for warranty repairs, this is now the 2nd issue that we have had with this business. First was rain water leaking from the roof down into the enphase unit. Now I have not been able to produce electricity due to shady electrical work, (which I’m very fortunate did not cause a fire and a burnt down building) for a month now. Had SMUD come out to service their meeter which was the location of the problem. Only to find out that it was caused by negligence on the installation. We have called, left messages and can’t manage to get a response back.

High Definition Solar installed our solar panels in 2012. We had great service and no problems throughout the years. Recently we had a roof tile break underneath one of our panels and leak into our attic, closet and bathroom. I called High Definition Solar and was told that they only installed full roofs. They could remove the panels and put them back up, but they did not repair roofs.  The roofing companies I called said that I would need to arrange to have the solar panels removed before they would do the repairs. So, a few days later I called High Definition back to find out the process and get an estimatee on how much it would cost to do this.  I spoke with Jairo Aguilar and told him of my issue. He asked for some pictures and took the time to do some inquiries. He called me back with the great news that he was able to refer me to a roofer who I could work with directly to get the repairs done!  Thank you, Jairo, for your time and great customer service!

Never call back or contact me back to fix the bad panels (production issue). Keep promises will let the manager know about my situation and has him contact me , but that never happened. Be careful and don’t sign any thing until you read all the agreement with this company.

When I first got my solar panels installed by HD Solar I gave them a 5 star rating. Everyone I worked with was professional, knowledgeable and helpful. No pushy sales. The whole install process went smoothly and their product is state-of-the-art.
However, after several years I am revising my review. A number of times I have had a problem. Once with a panel going out and having to be replaced and twice a micro inverter (?) having to be replaced. Their customer service is very very poor. It took numerous calls and several weeks to a month to get these problems addressed. Now waiting yet again to get a problem resolved.

We had 6 bids for a new roof after last years storms that were so out of reach it was a year before we could get satisfaction from our insurance company. And satisfaction we received. Luckily we found High Definition. The customer service is impeccable. They came in with a reasonable and thoughtful bid. And they worked out 0% financing for one year. They came quickly, handled the job competently, and came back quickly for the few touch ups I needed. The crew was extraordinary clean and the place look great at the end of this every day they worked. Now with these storms we are cozy and confident. It looks great! I look forward to working with them when I can move to solar!
