Pre approved to buy a mower and decided to purchase it today. Told by the employee that they are short handed and that the place is closed. I guess Hillsboro Hardware and 2S Outdoor don't need the money or want to sell anything. So much for supporting small town businesses. And this is after being recommended by people in the local area. Place is a joke to treat customers like that. I'll go elsewhere. It's a shame I couldn't leave a zero star review.

If I could leave negative stars I would. I bought a dryer from them and set up a delivery date. 30 minutes before they were to get here they called and said they were short handed and couldn’t come so I rescheduled for 3 days later. 45 minutes AFTER they were scheduled to arrive I called to find out were they were and they said they would be coming in about 30 minutes. When they finally arrived I still didn’t get my dryer because they didn’t tell me it didn’t come with electrical cord to plug it in. When I called Jenny laughed and thought it was funny. I found out the owner won’t be there until end of next week! Laughing Jenny said the owner is the one who sold the dryer to me.

Very helpful to have a full service hardware store in town. I almost always find what I'm looking for, and the staff is able to assist with questions. Open M-F until 6 and Saturdays until 5.
