I visited this Urgent Care Clinic last week when I was feeling absolutely miserable—fever, congestion, body aches, and a terrible cough. The customer service at the front desk was fine—nothing exceptional, but they were polite and got me checked in quickly. The wait time wasn’t too bad either.

However, the medical care I received was incredibly disappointing. After a quick evaluation, the provider told me it was just a viral infection and recommended over-the-counter medicine and rest. I specifically asked if there was anything stronger that could help, but they insisted I’d just have to ride it out.

Well, I "rode it out" for a full week, and my symptoms only got worse. I could barely function, my cough was relentless, and I felt absolutely awful. Finally, I decided to see another doctor, who immediately prescribed me a Z-Pak (azithromycin). Within 24 hours, my symptoms drastically improved, and I was on the road to recovery.

I’m incredibly frustrated that this clinic dismissed my condition so easily. Had they taken my concerns more seriously and provided appropriate treatment, I wouldn’t have had to suffer through an entire week of misery. If you need quick care for a minor issue, maybe this place is fine, but if you're really sick and need effective medical treatment, I’d think twice before trusting their advice.

I love everything about Hoag. They have urgent cares all over Irvine and they are clean and well staffed. I never have to wait to be seen and the workers are pleasant and friendly. I am taken seriously, no matter what my issue is. It is actually enjoyable to go to one of their facilities when I am sick or injured. They take my insurance and I never have to pay out-of-pocket.

I made an appointment online at this urgent care, but was feeling bad so I walked in sooner than my appointment. They were happy to take me. I was greeted with a friendly warm smile and all of the technicians doctors nurses all seem eager to help you feel better with good patient care. They were genuine.

I would like to commend the staff's for the professionalism of everyone that we're working on 5/4/25. They handled the very mean and entitled lady who walked in late on her appointment. Mean entitled and a snob lady. They treated her with kindness professionalism in spite of her being mean towards them. Way to go Hoagies!!

I did not realize that we came in right before closing when my son seemed to have an ear infection. They saw us, diagnosed and got us out so quickly and didn't even mention they were closing. I really appreciate how they handled the situation and didn't realize until we were leaving that they were closed. Anytime we have come to this location in the past they have always been helpful and quick
