We've been using Howies for almost 14 years. They are wonderful. Our guy Anthony is top notch and anyone filling in for his has been great too! Anthony is very professional and always has a smile on his face. He's been known to come up to the side of the house and grab our bin if we didn't get it out in time. I can't say enough nice things about Howies and their entire staff (to include the recycle guy)!!!

Started using John Malon’s trash service and wish he still owned the business. I would recommend him to anyone. Switched to Howies services by default. Haven’t had an issue with them until just recently. Our blizzard we just had stopped their service the first week which was understandable. The second week our roads were cleared enough for school buses and delivery trucks but the garbage truck refused to pick up our road. The service just seems to be deteriorating. Not sure if I would recommend at this time.

We have had no issues with Howie’s service for the past 3 years. However, recently our trash bin was either stolen or moved by the wind and when we called to see what could be done they just referred us to the replacement charge of $75. My roommate called and asked for an identification number to our trash bin since all of them have numbers in case the wind moved our bin down the street so we could identify it and they said that they do not have bin numbers tied to each house or account. Therefore they have no way to track whose bins belong to what house?! Everyone is given random bins with no record keeping of who gets what. To anyone reading, I would keep record of your bin number since Howie does not. I would have been satisfied with a discounted rate to show that they truly cared but nothing of that sort was offered.

We used Howie's for approximately 3 years and they provided excellent service. They always picked up everything we put out. They were great at communicating. We have moved and the city provides trash service. I highly recommend, Howie's.

Howie's is LITERALLY the best trash service around! Easy and friendly costumer service, great communication about pick and payments! All the extra services you could ask for! Needed a roll-away dumpster it was there the exact day and time I needed it!

I have lived in many different towns and nothing else can compare to the amazing work that this company does at the price they ask! 10/10, 5 STARS!!!

I’d like to say a BIG thank you to my trash collector. He not only collected my trash in this horrible weather he pushed my trash receptacle back up my slick driveway to my garage door so I wouldn’t have to come down and possibly fall to bring it back inside. Poor service. Our trash couldn’t be set out last week because of the storm. This week they have chosen to not pick up our trash. The storm was a week ago and the roads are cleared off. It is a choice.
