The first infinity shield I received was damaged in shipping but I sent an email with my order info and pictures of the bent units and within hours they planned to send another set which I received yesterday. I installed the un-damaged set today which was very easy, I just measured from the floor up for a good spot for the clips on both sides and installed the clips and clipped the units in place. I had a wired sensor on the garage door and rail for our security system but the Infinity Shield fit over that easily. Wiring it was the biggest challenge I got the wrong polarity at first and had to unplug the garage door after testing it and reverse the wires then plug it back in but then it worked as expected.

We are very happy with our Infinity Shield. The beeping sensor is indispensable when it comes to parking our cars. We no longer need to visually check that we can close the garage door. Also, greatly appreciate the safety features. Our garage door is very heavy and we were always afraid our younger daughter could be hit by the door.

I absolutely love my new Infinity Shield system. After too many close calls with the hatchback on my car in a small San Francisco garage, I'm now confident that the door will not close if the hatchback is open.

I really like the mounting bracket system. It makes it super easy and quick to install, just clip the existing wires, dismount the old sensors, set the dipswitches and snap it into place. The short / low profile ones do a good job of minimizing the amount of space needed which is essential in a small garage.

As a bonus, the system has made the garage door a lot safer for my dog as well since she doesn't pay attention to the fact that the door is closing.

I watched the short install video first, so the install was very easy. Everything went exactly as in the video.

I’ve had the infinity shield for about a week and it is doing exactly what I hoped it would: it detects when my rear hatch is open so the garage door will not come down on the open hatch, and it also detects at bumper height (and more!) ensuring both vehicles are fully out of the way of the garage door path.

I pre-ordered and the preorder took longer than expected, but the infinity shield is worth the wait as it does exactly what I wanted and no other product seems to do. More proactive communication on the preorder would have been nice, but my emails were always answered promptly.

Shipping was fast and well packaged

After garage door snagged back bumper and trunk on a couple occasions, we knew we needed a solution to prevent further vehicle damage after our costly vehicle cosmetic repairs. Discovered infinity shield, it's been a life saver, it's audio sensor indicator let's us know everytime we've cleared garage door path. Outstanding product and essential for all mid to small size garages!!! The Infiniti system will also reposition itself to open position even if your music blasting or you ignore audio warning, ultimate protection and no more worries with this product!!

As someone who has closed the garage door on the hatchback of his wife's SUV, I was very happy to find out about this new safety sensor. I'd been looking for something like this for years. The device arrived well packed and in perfect condition.

Installation was simple, taking about 30 minutes including watching the installation video. I mounted the receiver bar on the side of the garage door which does not get glare from the bright morning summer sun - this used to interfere with my Chamberlain opener's factory sensors. Don't know if this matters with the Infinity Shield or not, but it was easy to do and didn't take extra time.

I was able to use the optional short sensor brackets as my garage door does not have significant obstacles projecting from its back side. This keeps the sensor a little closer to the door's track, giving slightly more room to maneuver trash cans, etc past the door edge.

Once installed, the sensor worked great and gives me real peace of mind that one of us won't run the garage door into the car again. One of our cars (a Lucid Air) has forward-looking lidar. I checked to see if the car's lidar interfered with the Infinity Shield operation during door closing - a known problem with some garage door sensors - and didn't find any problems. Everything worked as it should.

I have a family with little kids and got an Infinity Shield to keep them safe. It has met all my expectations and works perfectly all the time. Installation was super easy and it worked right away with my Liftmaster opener.

I had a bit of an issue on my first unit and they handled it promptly and professionally. On the second unit, the main issue was with my wiring. Specifically one of the leads from my opener going through the wall to the Infinity Shield crapped out. After almost giving up, I developed a workaround and the system has worked flawlessly ever since. I really appreciate the fact that I now can pull my car into the garage and not have to worry about the bumper being scratched by the garage door. This is so because my car is quite large for the garage size.
