Staff is friendly but Jim is a relic and not willing to engage his constituency. His policy ideas come straight from ALEC (I was honestly surprised that an aid was willing to admit that), or local special interests designed to enrich a select few. Jim is the guy that cut revenue for firefighters and then suggested that they buy hundreds of thousands of cardboard boxes from his buddy that can be filled with water and dropped on wildfires. Wish I was making this up....

Jim and his staff are wonderful. They helped me receive my EDD that I didn't get for months. I've been getting EDD for 23 years twice a year because I drive school bus. All of a sudden I got lost in the EDD mess. Thank you ! Patterson and his staff.
