VERY DISSATISFIED with the delivery of my new appliances.
The delivery crew arrived 2 hours early and then was very RUDE to my contractor leaving the appliances outside in the rain in 2 INCHES OF WATER and walked away.

I have always had great service from this outfit but today's experience was one for the record books... I would rate their delivery crew with a NEGATIVE 5!!!

My original rating was 5 stars and that remains the same for the in store personnel and DYLAN (one of their service guys) -- He's AMAZING!!!

Delivery Crew is ... well in the words of my contractor "these guys were jerks, very rude and scroungy looking, just dropped the stuff off and took off. Not nice people at all." "I've had these issues with Jim's Appliance before."

After reading other reviews I WOULD AGREE! Their DELIVERY CREW is absolutely HORRIBLE!! Very UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE!!!

Great place to do business just make sure you pick up your own appliances!

WOW!!! These guys are GREAT!!! I had a waterline in 30 year old fridge break. I had called two closer companies and they couldn't get me in until after the new year. I called Jim's expecting the same results and knowing I'd have to pay a travel fee since they are about 45 min. away. The lady who answered the phone was very understanding and nice. She put me on the scheduled for the very next week (I called on Christmas Eve). Dylan from was AMAZING!!! It took a couple of tries to get the right part ordered - as I said it was a OLD fridge. He was very thorough and had to make three trips to get the right parts ordered and installed but he was determined to get us back up and running in a timely manor. He didn't charge me for all the extra trips or even any travel fee's. Jim's Appliance has AMAZING customer service!!!! Can't wait to check them out when buying my new appliances! If their service is that good on something you don't buy from them can't wait to deal with them on appliances I do buy from them!!!

Although I have had other experiences with Jim's Appliance, I had not ever encountered a problem that I needed something resolved. The way they handled this one shows me that I won't be going back to them again.
I purchased a brand new washer and dryer in November for Black Friday. I will give you the cliff note version of the story...
When I bought it, they said they would have to order the dryer and that they would call to schedule it. After a couple of weeks of not hearing from them, I called to check and they apologized and said it would be about a month to get it. Since my washer was falling apart I asked if they could at least bring out the washer. After the washer was delivered and I used it the first time, I realized it was making a horrible clanking noise that was NOT GOOD. They sent out a repair guy a while later, and he agreed the noise was not normal or good. He didn't have the part to fix it though, so he had to get it and come back again. About that time the dryer comes in. They bring the dryer and the piece for the washer comes in. The piece for the washer doesn't fix the problem, and when they delivered they dryer they didn't have the right stuff to hook up the steam feature on my dryer, so they would need to come back for that. I called about getting a new washer exchanged for the broken one. They had to order it. After waiting a couple of weeks and not hearing anything I called in AGAIN and the guy that I have been working with "thought that was already taken care of" and so I had to let him know that I still didn't have my new washer and I still didn't have the dryer fixed correctly yet. Luckily he said that 3 of those washers had just come in and they could come out and scheduled a time, which was today!
They showed up today, and brought my new washer and installed the correct water setup to make the steam function work on the dryer. After spending about 45 minutes after they left trying to test my new washer, I realized they had accidentally turned off the water after they tested it, so since I had watched the water run, I thought something new was broken until I finally tried the water and started a load of clothes. I had to leave before it was running through all the cycles though, so I haven't got to listen to this yet. This was the 6th time I have had to take off work and be at home to meet people to get this and ASSUMING that this washer functions as it should, this will be the first day both of my new washer and dryer will be working correctly since I paid for them in November of 2023.
So here is the kicker... I have asked a couple of times to possibly at least have the "installation" fee of about $100 refunded to me, since obviously the installation was not completed on the dryer until today and because of all my issues. Today the owner called me back and because I was on a meeting I missed his call. His message to me made sure to mention that "I know that the one they brought back seems to work fine". When I returned his call, I let him know that I didn't just want an exact replica of the washer that was delivered in December! There was something wrong with it, the repair person agreed, and my video recordings of it also were proof and that it was pretty poor customer service to basically leave a message that ultimately said "I don't believe you" when calling me back after dealing with this for about 3 months.
Appliances aren't cheap and I have been pretty patient considering that I have had to reach out and at one point they didn't even know I still didn't have it replaced. I told him he didn't need to worry about a refund. But I will say that the owner's message on my phone today was what showed the true colors on how they probably handle a lot. Not cool!!

The selected refrigerator and Extended Warranty were perfect. Sales Team and Delivery Team were Punctual, Cordial and Professional. Spend a few dollars for delivery and haul-away. It was well worth a few extra dollars and Customer Service was great.

I was refered to Jim's appliance by Kitchenaide for repair of a dishwasher that was leaking and under warrenty.  A Jim's technition came to my home to evaluate the unit and found it was cracked.  The technician advised I would hear from him the next day regarding the repair / replacement.  I called Jim's one week later after not hearing from anyone art Jim's and was told the technition would call me back that day regarding repair / replacement.  I called back the next day after not receiving a call and was advised that Jim's wasn't interested in doing warrenty work on my new dishwasher unless it had been purchased from Jim's.  I asked if Jim's would call Kitchenaide and tell them that I still needed help, only to be told that I could call Kitchenaide myself.  I would recommend you go elseware due to Jim's lazy, rude and incompitent business practices.  They'll take warrenty money from Kitchenaide or other manufacturers for 5 minutes of effort and then not call you back / refuse to do the work.  I wouldn't want to depend on Jim's appliance.  I notifed Kitchenaide of Jim's unethical and incompitent business practices.

Very disappointed in the service my mother in Hutchinson received. Purchased an oven from them in the years past and had to have a board replaced in the fall. She did self Clean, as she was not advised at purchase time or when they put the new board in to not do it. The self clean burned out several components , including the replaced board and they could not fix it. We were going to preorder and pay for a new oven that was on sale but the sale ended the day before the service person could come. They said we could prepay and order the day before but we couldn’t return it if they were able to fix the current oven the day after the sale! We won’t be going back there:

The employee Tyler that helped my wife was very professional, helpful and very knowledgeable about the appliances and helped us get a wonderful dishwasher. During the delivery, the installers were professional. They called before they came, and were on time, but damaged our countertop, did not fully install our dishwasher, and told us they did not cause any damage to our house before they left. They did not fully install our dishwasher as they said the dishwasher was too tall to install. We called a local contractor and he installed the dishwasher for us in a few minutes. Management was willing to reach out and refunded half of our installation fee, even though the company did not install our dishwasher. They were short with my wife on the phone and the refund doesn't fix the damage to the countertop. Overall, this was an "ok", experience, as picking out the dishwasher and scheduling and getting the delivery were smooth and easy, but next time, we will install the dishwasher ourselves and spend our money elsewhere.

Bought a refrigerator here. They had a great selection! And had many many options IN STOCK. We had a specific size requirement and we still had 5 or 6 to choose from (where other places were lucky to even find 1… NOT in stock). Friendly service and very helpful. We will definitely be going there again in the future.
