Doug was out-of-his-way helpful in trying to find the right equipment for what I needed. He even offered to wait past closing hours for me to get there. The rental rate per hour was also very affordable at $14/hour for a ladder.

I had rented china, silverware, and glassware from this company for my wife’s birthday. First of all, the prices listed on their website are misleading. For example, the dinner plate website price is $0.65, in reality it’s $0.75, water goblet website $0.45, on site — $0.65, coffee mug website $0.45, on site — $0.75. Almost everything is priced much higher when you show up to get your rental. Another thing that they expected you to literally wash the plates, silverware, and glasses before returning them. I used to rent stuff for my catering business from different companies for years and it was always good enough to scrape the food off the plates. Not here, unfortunately. They threatened to charge me double for having slight food residue on the plates. Be aware of that dealing with this company.

I had a great experience renting from them. Super nice and organized, pickup was quick and easy. They loaded everything into my minivan and unloaded it. Prices were the best I could find. I would highly recommend using them for your next rental needs!

This was my first experience renting from Johnson County Equipment and Event Rental. The rental checkout went smoothly, the equipent worked well, was in good repair and was exactly what I expected. Rental checkin was as smooth and efficient as the checkout. Friendly and helpful staff. This was the most positive equipment rental experience of any rental company I have used.
