Years ago I sent my Harley engine to Johnson Tech.after speaking to Mr.Johnson on his theory on how to get more cfms of air into engine.After receiving my engine back installed in my springer softail,initial crack of throttle,response was so immediate,it almost left me standing there while the bike went on.It was the fastest bike I had ever been on,after many years riding.I used to hunt for Japanese bikes and eat them up.Mr Johnson is a master engine builder.He explained to me his theory of inverted conical intake ports,basically same idea of a fire hose for air velocity into engine along with 2into 1 exhaust and open breather for carb. What a genius.Especially after hearing about guys looking for huge intakes for air, waste of time.So if u want a naturally aspirated engine to eat up orher bikes.Get hold of Johnson Engineering,Westerly,RI.
