Adrian Johnson surveyed an Eastbay 39 for us yesterday. We were pleased and impressed with not only his obvious depth of knowledge concerning the boat and everything related to it but as well with his work ethic: he began at 9 AM and finished after dark, in the snow. He was outside on the cockpit of the boat testing a mechanized dinghy lift at 6 PM. He answered all our questions carefully and with forethought and worked to figure out anything which wasn’t immediately obvious, such as tracking down some unexpected wiring and determining its function. We would hire Adrian again without hesitation and would only hope that we would be in an area where he would be accessible when next we purchase a boat.

I called Johnson Marine Services on a Thursday afternoon and Adrian called me back Friday morning. We need to have a boat appraised that was located on Block Island. Adrian was headed out there for the weekend and offered to do the appraisal on Saturday morning. This was wonderful as it saved us the travel expense of getting out to Block Island. The completed appraisal was very complete and included photos and the information we needed. Thank you for being flexible and doing this while on 'vacation".

Adrian surveyed a 37ft sailboat for us. The survey took 9 hours, and was extremely thorough and very provessional. Adrian also told us a lot about this model, and outlined future repairs and maintenance to us in great detail. The survey found several defects, and the sellers had to reduce the price by more than the price of the survey, so it was totally worth it!
