Kaylee is amazing!!! She walked a paper all the way out to .e in the freezing cold because she didn't want me to struggle getting in with my walker that was working poorly. Junction City your so blessed to have such a beautiful soul working for you. I thank you Miss Kaylee for being so kind!!

I really feel like the water department does fraudulent things but when I called Topeka to file a complaint I was told junction is one of the only entities not regulated by the state. Sewage was going under my home for months and my sewage bill got higher . I don’t understand how they determine their rates . My sewage is typically higher than my actual water bill . They send a disconnect notice on your actual bill which in itself is shady . On top of all of that the water itself tastes bad . Not a good experience at all and triple the cost compared to other places I’ve lived .

As a female, I have gotten nowhere with the current city manager, but my husband, as a male, is able to get responses to his calls and emails - many females will get the issue here. I have presented information to support my complaints, including the municipal code, only to be blown off. It appears the codes are merely suggestions depending on what the issue actually is. Always take your complaints and suggestions to the city commission, and in person is best to make it official. Codes/statutes only apply to "certain" people or businesses, and to heck with the rest of the people. As a military veteran myself, I doubt anyone in or a veteran of the military will not be pleased with the way the city is being run, or should I say, not run!
