My gate needed to be hung. However, the gate was taken out of the box, and the slats were sawed off because he said they weren't the right size ? So, he cut them all and ruined it...I was TOLD that the owner would stop by the house after CHURCH to look at what his worker did...He never came ...I had no opportunity to return the gate if it wasn't the right size...Or I could have been told that the slats would be sawed off if I agreed... I have called over 100x but no answer...my gate is ruined now and I will have to buy another one...DO NOT USE THIS company!!!!!!!!

Edited Review: Had a great initial experience with this company; however, once he gets all the money, he will never come back. The lights stopped working on Christmas Day, he said he would come out to fix them. Never did. Never came to take them down. The lights ended up falling off of the house. I contacted him several times, only to be met with excuse after excuse as to why he couldn't make good on the service he promised. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend.

We used JW Construction to install our Christmas lights. He and his crew did an excellent job! They were communicative, professional, and showed up to the appointment when they said they would. Julius is very responsive to any concerns we have had. Plus, his pricing is very fair! We highly recommend using JW Construction for Christmas light installation!

I had an appointment with JW but, he never called or showed up !
I called his competitor and they came when they said they would & completed the project and I have yet to hear from this guy !
Oh and btw I used Calvin w/ Starcraft Builder's & they did an excellent job !!

Everyone please beware of JW Construction. We scheduled work with him on September 5th. I didn’t receive a contract to sign until 2 weeks later. The contract was vague and did not include everything we discussed but I figured he would do all he said so didn’t question anything. I was then told we wouldn’t be put on his schedule until we paid at least 50% down. I then had to ask for an invoice multiple times to be sent and asked how to pay. I received the invoice, which was incorrect, on 10/5 and paid immediately. We were put on the books and after speaking with multiple people about the issues we had had up to this point I was referred to his MULTIPLE bad reviews. I was told by a neighbor to try to cancel my work with him because he either wouldn’t do it right, not show up, or would tack more fees on once the work started. I called JW and said we were tight on funds and would schedule the work later if we could just cancel. He said he could only give me 50% if my money back, which is not in his contract. I said I didn’t want to lose 50% and he said “I dont want bad reviews so if I just need to refund you all the way I will”. To not be a bad sport and be rude I just decided to move forward with the work and not lose any money or make him have to pay me back, even though he had agreed to do so. After this point he became basically unresponsive to me and changed the date of our work numerous times. I then decided that something clearly was wrong and just needed to get out of this. He would not respond to me but would respond to my husband and said he would give us $900 back. He setup times to meet and pay us back 3 times and never would. JW and his wife will steal from you and my review is not the only one that will indicate this has and will happen if you use JW Construction. I assume he will see this post and try covering his back or make false accusations and posts, but I do have screenshots and proof of everything said above.
Lastly, he charged me $400 to seal grout on the floor of my bathroom, which he did not clean first or do any prep work to so my grout is now sealed with dirt in it and my black grout has turned gray.
