Real tight getting in if you don't know what your doing. Shipping/receiving is on mulberry, no over night parking, but they are quick to unload. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Here's another update after 4 years. Same issues. Do not buy from Ottawa /Kalmar. Cummins engines are no better. DEF system is junk! No customer support. Junk, junk, junk. Still the same issues but worse. Engine fault codes on all 4 spotters. Over 750 repair tags. Repeat issues.Read down below. Please do not buy a Ottawa spotter. You'll be sorry. We still have constant check engine fault codes. Cab is built poorly. Sliding door does not seal to keep fumes out. Their VP is silent. The AC still freezes up after 2 years of no fix. Buy Capacity!! You had a million chances to make things right with our company. You've failed miserably!! I've been a spotter driver for 37 years. These are, by far, the worst yard spotter trucks ever driven! Terrible build. No quality whatsoever! If you are in the market for new yard spotter trucks. .. stay away from Ottawas. Constant warranty work ! And constant repeat issues ! Check engine lights on all the time. Beepers going off non-stop for weeks until they decide to clear the codes. A more detailed review coming. Save your money.... Stay away from Ottawa! If I could give it 0 stars I would!! Update..5/21/19...I'm going to update periodically. Our company has 4 of these spotters. Delivered 1 in April 2018, 2 in June 2018, and the last delivered Aug 2018. Over 400 delivered nationwide. Constant warranty work on all 4. Getting close to at least 75 repair orders on these 4. They come with a 6000 hour warranty. We have between 3000 and 3800 hours between the 4. More information later. 5/22/19 I come in to drive my spotter, it has a coolant leak. 4th time in a year. So I drive another spotter. It idles too high and check engine light on... buzzers going off constantly! FYI... . Ottawa/Kalmar wants me silenced. Their management complained to our management about my emails and correspondence to Ottawa /Kalmar about all the issues we are having with our 4 yard spotters. Thank goodness my vehicle operations manager backs me and agrees with me that we are having way too many warranty issues. It impacts our daily operations when just 1 spotter is down. I will not be intimidated by the tactics of Ottawa management. I've threatened to use the whistle blower act if they keep this up since we are a government agency. I knew we were going to have issues with the quality build of these spotters when we rented a 2015 model year spotter for 2 months. We had issues with it and also when they came to pick up the rental they asked what brand we were getting.. I told him Ottawas... He said good luck because you'll have constant warranty work. And he was right!!!! More later. Update: 5/29/19 Air conditioner issues. All 4 spotters freeze up after about an hour or so driving. No cooling. It's worse with high humidity. Ottawa has no fix for this. We have to shut off AC to melt the freeze up. They all have done this since delivery. Poor engineering and design flaw. Other facilities across the nation having the same AC issues. Our old Capacity brand spotters never did this in the 13 years we had them! Update: 6/5/2019 Air conditioners freezing up at our Kansas City facility. It's also happening nationwide. Florida facilities and states with real high temps and humidity have constant AC freeze ups. Ottawa has known about this issue since April 2018. They are just now responding to this issue. You get about 2 hours of great AC cooling then the freeze ups occur. Then you turn AC off but leave fan on to thaw it out. Nice design, right? Updated 6/14/2019 AC still freezing up after their warranty mobile dealership (Westfall) tried to come up with a fix. It's happening nationwide. Here's another issue. Cab design poorly engineered. It's not airtight. So a lot of humidity enters around the sliding door. Which makes the AC work harder removing the humidity. Also, when in regeneration mode, fumes enter the cab. The smell from exhaust fumes is intolerable! No fix in sight. OSHA was called.

They are unorganized and don’t care about their products that come in unless you are here directly associated with them. If you’re an outside carrier you just get pushed back. Your an afterthought to this company

Todd Williams. You are so right. My company just bought 9. 8 out 9 just broke rear axle bolt. One truck had only two out four bolts holding. All 9 trucks bought same time. Ottawa claims it's driver abuse. Air conditioner doing same. And what about the way the front springs have big gaps between leafs. How long till these break. Makes me want to scrape made in America sticker off side June the nineth out of mine trucks just broke bolts holding back axle in place. AC still a joke. You would think spending over a million in truck sales you could count on customer support. We had one truck delivered that sat for weeks. Ottawa and Cummins fought over cause of problem. That kind of sale they should have sent us another truck and argue with Cummins on their time not the customers. Air pressure gauge messing up in one I'm driving. Our mechanic said he would order a sensor. Getting Ottawa to back up warranty not worth hassle

old Ottawa's were great, new Kalmars not. Starts with fifth wheels made in China and goes downhill from there.
