Kansas Surgery & Recovery Center has definitely earned their Top 100 Hospital accolade. From their convenient location and great parking, to checking in and checking out and everything in between. It was just the best experience one could have regarding health and surgery. I'd never had surgery before and regardless of how common and simple, it can still be nerve wracking. Every single person I came in contact with throughout my process and procedure, and I mean every single person, was an absolute Godsend. Everyone had grace and patience and truly cared and nurtured me in what was, to me, a very foreign environment and experience. Thank you all so much.

I have had several surgeries over the years resulting from dangerous hobbies, but this hip surgery to remove previous hardware was the best overall experience by far. The staff is polite, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. The quality of the care was also second to none. I have a follow up surgery in a few months that, thanks to today's experience, I am no longer nearly as concerned about. Thanks guys!!!

Update:

I had the total hip replacement surgery yesterday morning. The experience was as good, or better, than the first surgery. I'm being held for observation through tomorrow morning (Christmas Day) because of the complexity of the surgery and my injury history. The ENTIRE staff is absolutely amazing! I've had bad experiences in the past, but this has been so unbelievably positive. I can't say enough good things about them. If this place offers the procedure you are needing I would strongly suggest you use them.

My first surgery ever, and I’m grateful that I had it here. I was beyond anxious, and from the moment I encountered staff, you could tell that they were trying to help me. From Misty at check-in, Holly in preop Sarah with anesthesia Alyssa in the OR, and Sammy in recovery, This team took really good care of me. I’m sure there were more, so I’m sorry if I’ve left anyone out. I appreciate the compassion. I felt from each of you. Thank you for making a difficult day bearable.

I Had a reverse shoulder replacement The Surgery and Recovery Center was awesome they explained everything it was so clean, every person was so polite. when I got to my room if I called for the nurse they came immediately no waiting. The cafe was very quick the food delicious I wish I had known about them sooner.

Full disclosure: The scope this review is based solely on a single MRI visit experience that was billed through work comp so there was no billing experience. I had accompanied a family member here for their appointment and was pleasantly surprised at the process and the location. The place was very clean, the people were friendly and helpful and the wait time was near zero. Everything from the scheduling to the actual exam to the receipt of all promised information and items was polite and quick.

Dr. Hagen performed my shoulder surgery and I am expected to have a full recovery and regain, potentially, all of my lost mobility and will be pain free. The facility was top notch, very clean and well equipped and organized. My nurses were very friendly and helpful. The anesthesia staff were very friendly and made sure all my questions were answered. I don’t want to have another surgery but they did a very good job here.
