My husband went to Fred with a small coin collection that had belonged to his father. Fred was very thorough, he explained the history of the coins and why some were more valuable than other's. We were so impressed by Fred's depth of knowledge, not just about the coins but also about their place in history. He was patient in answering questions and seemed pleased to share his knowledge with us. Other appraisers can give you a price, but Fred gives you an education as well as a fair price. We will use his services again!

After looking at the google reviews we decided to call KC's and make an appointment. we were not disappointed. We had some silver coins and a small amount of gold. Fred greeted us at the door and made us feel comfortable as he began to examine what we had brought in. He took the time to explain the process. The final amount was roughly what I had calculated that we would be receiving. Fred was honest in all his answers and was fair in what he paid us. We would strongly recommend KC's, we know that in the future if we have any other silver or gold to cash in this is where we will go!

I have been coming to KC Gold and Collectibles since 2020 (five times so far) bringing in coins, gold and silvery jewelry and costume jewelry pieces. I am currently going through my parent’s estate and have had 2 appointments this past week. On every visit I felt welcome and treated fairly. I also learned something about the collectibles and precious metals business on each visit. Fred is very knowledgeable about his business, and I appreciate all the explanations he gives on the items. He has even given helpful advice about items he does not collect! Many reviewers call this a “hidden gem”, but I don’t think it’s hidden anymore! I keep going back because I have both a good feeling while I’m there and that same good feeling after I leave. There is never any pressure to sell anything if you are uncertain. As I continue searching for treasure, I know exactly where I will bring it. Thank you, Fred!

I chose to goto KC’s to sell some Coins I inherited. Mainly because of all the positive reviews. It was a little bit of a drive. Waze unexpectedly brought me to the Historic Glastonbury/Rocky Hill ferry, which turned out to be a fun experience. Arriving at KC’s I met Fred, who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the coins I brought in. Only took about a half hour to come up with an offer for the coins. I happily accepted the generous offer, and walked away a very satisfied customer.

This is a small time place the size of an office with a shared building...I brought in many different old currency coins from many different countries I've collected over the years and he offered me near nothing. He does not deal with Pokemon cards and is small time regarding comic books like advertisement says. I also just bought a 6.9mm diamond cut 10kt gold rope chain worth over $2,000 dollars at Kay's jeweler's and he offered me $444! He doesn't care about the piece only the weight. Kind guy who will look at what you have but is definitely out to make money not even close to giving you a fair deal! I've been to pawn shops that would offer me more than double what he did! Waste of time and gas money...I bet this review gets deleted lol
