A small park but the waterfalls were pretty. The trail is wheelchair accessible to a point, if I remember correctly.
There are a bunch of stairs to go up the waterfall and farther into the park, so take note.
There are a bunch of picnic tables for a nice lunch or snack break, and the bathrooms were clean enough.
The park also costs $15 for out of state cars, so keep that in mind.

Small park but it was surprisingly not crowded. We visited it to explore the waterfalls. It was a short hike with multiple view points highlighting different sections of the falls. Beautiful!❤️ It is a good spot for a family picnic. Level lawn with a view of the waterfall (just bring your grill). It is free for CT residents. Out-of-state registered cars can enter for a fee.

Nice park with a waterfall trail. The falls can be viewed from several points along the trail. Picnic tables and grills are near the parking lot. The restrooms were locked leaving only porta johns in the parking lot available. Note: out of state cars are charged $12 for parking. You need to pay online or risk a $75 parking ticket.

Easy to access the state park. Out of state cars will be charged a $15 fee. Though the parking lot is not huge we were able to find a spot pretty easily on a summer weekend morning.
As soon as you go through the red covered bridge you can see the picnic area with benches and bbq on your right. There was a birthday party held on the far end. Along with porta potty at the entrance there are more restrooms in the picnic area which I've marked because it's easy to miss, though they are not open all the time, when we went, they were.
We chose the white loop. It's an easy hike of 30min to go up and 30min to come down at the slowest pace and suitable for all ages. Little ones will love this. There are benches at some view point to rest up. It was a beautiful and serene surrounded with greenery and the cascading falls right beside you. There are defined stairs at some places and you'll have to climb little high at some slopes, to note in case there are older individuals in the group. If you are adventurous you can choose the red or yellow loop or switch the loops at the top. We were a little confused when we reached the top whether that's the end as shown in the info board or do we have go to further, because we saw people walking further onto the road, later we found out it was for switching loops. Great park to spend the weekend or to take quick hike any day.

What an absolutely beautiful place !
For those who complained about the entrance fee, I'm sure that money is used to upkeep this park. How else would it be so clean and in such prestine condition? Yes, it is small, but you can just relax on the grass after the hike or grab a table and bbq/eat lunch. After a long week at work, this is perfect to unwind ! The trail is a little challenging for those who have never hiked before. Just go slow and easy. You'll see how beautiful it is at the top as the photo ops are endless. You'll get such gorgeous shots ! The 2 hour drive was totally worth every mile !!

Free admission for CT residents with CT car plate. Recommended for small group picnic or short 2-3 hour activities. Nice looking falls with path to go to the top of the falls. Opportunity for short to medium hiking in the trail.
