Milkshakes, ice cream, and other sweet treats are tasty. Short wait for food. The museum is interesting and talks about the history of Greensburg and surrounding towns.

Housed in a beautiful building, this small town museum pays homage to the many historical events this part of Kansas has survived and in some cases, thrived, through. The Soda Shoppe is a nice surprise for an afternoon treat, too.

So cool learning about the history of Greensburg! And they even had an old-fashioned soda fountain/ice cream parlor attached!!

We did not tour the museum, but did get some ice cream which was really good. We also went upstairs to the outdoor patio to see the green roof, thin-film solar panels, and solar-tube skylights.

The food was fantastic, the place was as well. The lady over at the Big Well gave us the history of the soda shop and it's old owner. I'm really glad she did, because when we got to the soda shop, the employee was a socially awkward girl with a nose ring, a skull shirt on, and multicolor hair. She didn't say anything when we walked in, didn't talk about the history, and was unhelpful when we asked any questions. She was completely checked out and is absolutely the wrong person for the job.

That said, the kids and I enjoyed the drinks we got.

Very very neat little museum and soda fountain. The matcha milkshale was delicious!
Very informative and a large display on the ef5 tornafo that destroyed the town!

We visited the soda shop and had ice cream and soda's. Delicious! Everything was very clean and the staff was so nice and helpful!
