Wonderful place for shopping with wide variety of all Indian and american groceries and a single place to shop for various utensils, sweets, Samosa, Religious books, Hindu and sikh religious articles, clothes, Blankets, Suitcase, Pagri, ayurvedic medicines, fresh produce, frozen stuffs with authentic punjabi taste, Punjabi Manja, Big Tandoors and many other things available. We are new to this place and went for the first time, have an amazing experience of shopping with owner Gurbakh Kaur ji. She is super friendly and showed all the stuffs with great humility and helped us in making best choices. We highly recommend this place.

Great Indian market! Absolutely cramed full of goodness! Work your way down the little paked aisles to find lots of food staples (dahl, channa, rice, turmeric, mustard seeds, etc) at great prices. Lots of packaged biscuts (yay!! Parle G--these are my husbands childhood favs, we were so happy to find them here), tea, spice mixes, and frozen items (Naan to kulfi). Also have housewares, fabrics, and fresh produce (the produce is pretty random, whatever is in season, usually very fresh). All the prices are excellent.
For non-Indian shoppers--most of the stuff is labeled in English. That said, make sure to brush up on your Indian-language-ingredient-vocab. Lentils are dahl, chickpeas are channa, cumin is jeera, etc.

Was open on Christmas Eve like 6pm-ish which was awesome just for that reason.
I had to get a big pot to cook our traditional Christmas Gumbo and they had the perfect size I needed 34 qt.
*They have plenty of BIG pots here (restaurant style pots).

And owner / employee is super nice and helpful‼️

This place isn't for me I went for a coworker of mine to get phone cards and the prices are fantastic, but they follow you around like your going to rip them off but I don't blame them due to the area ,it's in really shady area,I definitely would not go there when the sun goes down barely wanted to in daylight , lots of things to choose from though like food from India and china and a little of everything else .not very organized in the least more as a garage sale kinda theme or vibe working you know like "oh yeah " here is a spot, just unload it there, but like I said very inexpensive , just don't expect to go through an isle and check out the inventory because you will be followed .I can't say why but I think that it was because I was a white guy in a India store ,but hey have you ever took a wrong road and thought "oh man this is a bad idea" , well that is how I felt going to this establishment, not welcoming at all but I've been to the projects of Compton and felt safer there, than I did at L A merchandise , but as always just my experience so grab your crew and check it out just don't go by your self , because the prices are fantastic. Let me know what you think of the place
