Excellent, basic, authentic good. Quite a lot of choice. Less spicy than I had expected. Inexpensive.

No beer?!? Disappointing, strange. No BYO either.

Fast service. Friendly staff (no English spoken though - not a problem)

The charm here is in the no frills simplicity, and the star of the show is the pan con bistec—though the pan con lechon is also amazing. It’s the kind of place that reminds you why hole-in-the-wall diners often serve the tastiest meals. If only there were more of them left in Miami.

I appreciated my visit here !

The staff is friendly and nice. But note, they are mostly Spanish speaking ! It seems there is always someone around who speak English.

I was here around 3PM, the place was not too crowded. I sat inside at the counter and shortly somebody handed me the menue. Same for taking my order.

I asked about their ''house'' sandwich: Sandwich Pan Con Bistec. It is 8$.

It took about five minutes from ordering until I got served. It was well draped and presented on a schist plate.

The sandwich itself tasted pretty good. It is served together with lettuce, tomatoes, the steak and I believe pickles. For my personal taste I was missing onions ! (Also a slightly thicker piece of beef but not a must).

As being a baker i note a little downside : the bread is drying a little fast for my taste. But I noticed this several times yet with the Cuban bread. It’s probably it’s characteristic.

Also : if you’re enthousiast of good coffee, don’t leave without having a colada ! (1,75$).

Where I sat, it is at the disposal of the customer to help himself with sauces : pepper/chili/spicy, mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard. Also vinegar, salt & grinder pepper. And napkins !

I appreciate how simple and down to earth this place is. It’s light, small, but ´authentic’ nice. Their playing some (probably?!) Cuban or Spanish speaking music.

The restrooms are clean.

Since I had a good & tasty experience I would recommend coming here !

I waited for about 1 hours for 2 sandwiches. Customers came and ordered there food and left and I'm still here waiting for my 2 sandwich. The guy that orders after me gets a whole meal and still gets served before me. I'm not going to recommend this place because I look like an American and everyone that got better service then me were Hispanics. Unless I'm a certain demographic I won't get the proper service I paid for

I had the worse experience at this place, today I went and ask for a pastelito de queso and a cafe con leche and the lady gave me a cappuccino which it was very sweet and it washed what I expected. She didn’t bring the pastelito and also she had a really bad attitude. Too bad because I use to go here while I wash my clothes and now I won’t until she is not there

It's a classic community cafe, not too stuffy, Staff doesn't speak a lick of English - meant to stop by on Your walk of calle Ocho grab a cordadito & empanada then be on your way. Best $5 you'll ever Spend. 😋

I had an amazing experience eating this delicious steak sandwich at La Esquina del Pan Con Bistec in Little Havana. Their food is amazing for a low cost price. A good alternative to the expensive restaurants in Brickell.
