Online it tell u to choose a date for auto pay.. my bill is only 16.00 a month I det up on the 28th of each month.. then they charge u 75.00 to turn ur water on.. so I paid almost a year of water payments.. so un fair if ur website extends the date that far u should allow it.. such a rip off

I never received a shut off notice! I came home to the water off. It was not even off but less then an hour, I ran up and paid it and was charged a 75$ reconnect! First off my bill was 60. I was charged 144! 75 plus 60 is not 144! Anyways to change 75 period is a rip off! Hopefully they'll also realize the mistake and put the 9$ towards my next bill...

The women in the office are always so kind and accommodating. We are of course required to maintain water service but they are the face of that and that makes all the difference.
They were extremely helpful when they changed to online service options by helping set it up and offer extra information and recommending calling in if needed.

Finding out our water was shut off by trial and error was not a fun way to encounter this issue. Lan-Del Water District did not notify us that our water was even due to be shut off. We did not receive a shut off notice in the mail, no one knocked on our door to let us know and we didn't even receive a phone call. The thing that makes this more frustrating is we consistently over pay on our bill so we have an overabundance for the next bill. We still have another bill in Leavenworth, so I acknowledge the fact that we were mistaken in sending the money to the wrong company this time. Even so, Lan-Del Water Department has a due diligence to have human decency and notify someone that their water will be shut off. I'm really glad the weather is better this week and not below zero, because we would have had major issues. Even so, it is still winter. Regardless of the fact that you are the only water company in Lansing, you should still do better. Take people into consideration. Learn how to communicate. Whomever makes the decisions or the list to shut off the water should be better about ensuring someone has adequate notice.

Have been customer for 4 years on auto draft without a single hiccup in billing, ever. Had a mishap with Target where they pulled money out of my account when they weren’t suppose to, causing my water bill to return. Brought in proof to the water department that it was not our fault and an error on Targets part but still required us to pay the $50 return fee. If they didn’t have us in a position where we have no choice of a water supplier, we would cancel without hesitation.

I was blown away with how rude and condensending the staff is here. I called to inquire about why the water was off and was talked to like I should already have known and like I'm a kindergartner. It's bad enough that the water in Lansing will ruin all of your appliances and shouldn't be used without a water softener but then to add the rude staff. They could let customers know when they plan to shut the water off.

We are moving to Lansing in a few weeks and have been working with Lan-Del Water to switch accounts from the previous owners to our information. Michelle, the manager, has been so easy to work with and has actually bent over backwards to make this transition easy for us! She has lived in the area her entire life and is sharing her knowledge of the town with us. We knew absolutely nothing about Lansing but she has been very kind and made our transition a pleasant one! Thanks for going above and beyond Michelle!

0 stars if I could! Horrible women sitting in that office. They don't understand the whole point of automatic payment is to save you from having to pay the (dumb) fees. So for whatever reason it doesn't work-- and it can't Possibly be a problem on their end or Heaven forbid a computer problem because they are so current on the times. Now I have to drive a check over and hand deliver it to the queens of rudeness. Won't even tell me how many times they tried charging us. Which if you didn't one time and it doesn't work; TRY IT AGAIN! Or how about call me before you decide I need to be charged over something I cannot control.
