These guys could use a little help in dealing with consumers as opposed to contractors. You can wander around the showroom for quite some time and no one will pay any attention to you. It's not that they're rude or uncaring, but I think more accustomed to dealing with contractors. Even the way the place is set up is geared towards contractors. Not to say that that's a bad thing but offer some direction to the homeowner type. Where do I go to get my questions answered, etc., Or better yet come out from behind the counter and asked me if I need some help. These guys could use some training in the "10-Foot Rule" where when an employee comes within 10 feet of a customer, the employee greets the person with the cheerful hello, or simply makes eye contact, smiles and nods his or her head. Once you get their attention they're great, but it seems that you have to be a contractor to do business with them so I guess they're not being paid commission unless you are a contractor and as such ignore you until gesture to them that you need help.

They were great when they were Harvey's. Now not so great this last time which was a simple order of two doors. They got the purchase order wrong. Luckily I reviewed it in detail before ordering and they fixed it. They failed to place the order so when I called to find out a status I was told it would be ordered and rushed but still took the full time to receive the order delaying me a month. When received both doors had damage. When I emailed them with photos and explanation of issues I received no response and was forced to go through the warranty claim process through the manufacturer on my own. I will not be able to deal with them again. I will use another supplier such as Lyon Billard and pay the extra 100 bucks for better service.

Terrible customer service, I walk into your store there are seven employees just too busy with there own work to even greet me. Mind you it took 15 minutes for one employee to even acknowledge me. I find this terrible customer and made me feel like my time and business to was beneath them. During those 15 minutes I had to look around by myself with no help what so ever. Even with 7 employees too busy with there own work , I will never come back here again!.

I called Monday morning for a window order they said they will call me back, I didn't get a call, I called Tuesday morning for a window order, they will call me back, no luck I called Wednesday morning same excuse. Today is Thursday and I still haven't received a call from them. If you're too busy to deal with customers you should just let us know so we can move on. Don't keep us waiting. Decided myself to take my business somewhere else.

Extremely dissatisfied with the customer service we have experienced so far. If we hadn't already paid for this window, we would certainly take our business elsewhere. We ordered our bay window on July 30th and were told it would take approx 3 weeks to build and deliver. After about 4 weeks, our contractor checked in on the progress and were told that there were some delays at the factory and it would be done soon. We finally got a call that the window was complete, but upon a final QC inspection they found a giant crack running down the center window. We decided to have them fix it at the factory instead of delivering a broken window. Rather than fixing the window, it was delivered to our house on Sept 16th - still broken. We were FINALLY able to arrange a truck to come and pick it up to return to the factory on Sept 28th. We were told it would be 3 weeks to fix and re-deliver. It is now almost 4 weeks later and we have no inclination on whether or not the window is fixed. We are pretty reasonable people, and even moreso in these times, but waiting 3 months for a window is getting a little ridiculous at this point. I would suggest going elsewhere for a window.

BUYER BEWARE

Don’t fall for their lifetime warranty. It’s garbage! And so are there windows. Have had an ongoing problem with them since they were installed. Still happening today. Low e coating Failure. Sash cord failure, seal failure, lock mechanism failure Now I’m stuck with discolored windows that looks terrible from the street and wont lock or stay open

I've recently got two dozen brand-new harvesty Majesty windows installed in my house. These are one of Harvey's flagship windows, made of wood with an aluminum wrapped exterior. They're sold as a premium product. Once installed we began noticing issues... Several windows did not have felt seals installed between the sashes at all, creating drafts at these windows. Three didn't have a finger hold routed into them which is used to open and close the windows and many of the glued on wood grilles were undersized for the sashes or were installed at odd angles. But most upsetting of all is that the sashes for almost every window in the house rub together when you open or close the windows. When we spoke with Harvey about the issues with the windows and they agreed to fix the seals and missing finger holds. However they refused to fix the biggest issue of all, the windows (which would be finished wood) rub when opened and closed, scratching the finish. The quality control of Harvey Windows is lacking to say the least.
