I loved dropping the soap in the showers, which are outside. Unfortunately, they wouldn’t let me leave, so I took off one star. Far from the worst hotel I’ve stayed in.

This prison is horrible!!! I've yet to know if my loved ones are OK. It was a huge fight yesterday we don't know anything. I understand these are inmate in trouble, but they are our loved ones and we do love them. They ARE loved. Too not know if anyone was hurt is ridiculous! And because their inmates not even the local news has picked up on this story. Smdh

The employees that work here are very disrespectful when you call and ask about A incarcerated individual they get very smart and disrespectful. They treat them like they are nobodies. They always on lock down they never get freedom out the room They never can reach out to their family when you try to get in contact with the inmates counselor, you have to call back to back or wait weeks in order to hear from them This is very disappointing. I’ll never wish this on anybody!!! it’s like the counselors hate that the inmates have people out here, so concerned about them. They are human just like everybody else just because they committed a crime or whatsoever. They don’t mean treat them any kind of way they already got to be in there to serve time stop making it more harder on them and try to really help them. That’s what you counselors are there for. I hope somebody step up and do something better about these correctional facilities !!!! and also get their employees in line every time I do hear from my husband, he always complain about How the deputies are treating him and others in there I should never have to get a phone call from my husband complaining about deputies and the facility

Employees working here think that it gives them an excuse to treat the human beings residing here like they are less than human. Then the top people running the place think it's perfectly fine to let their employees behave and treat the incarcerated in such a low manner. #Reform

If you ever choose to be incarcerated I highly recommend LansingCF. Never in my life have I heard so many enlightening bed time stories! The food is epic. My favorite dish was the meat with noodles, bed/butter, lime jello and Hershey kiss. So many creative minds in there. Very inspirational!

I had issue with inmates and officer too and not doing a very good job cause I they need to start charging the inmates with an hateful crime for what they did to me it is an unsafe situation for what they did to me and I never got all my property there they like to trash them cause they don't want to do the inventory for Segregation allowable and I still have my property form for what I am missing that cost me money for what I payed for something needs to be fix if this don't get fix I will complain to the government about this issue and start charging the inmates with an hatecrime for what they are doing thank you and have a bless day

It's a place that's depressing. I know society has the need for the existence of such places, but still it's designed & run as a privatized business. Businesses don't exist to lose money, or to break even, they're in business for profit. It's a rather sad place mankind is at. But what can be done ? There will always be a need.
