Zero stars. Customer service is the WORST. Whatever girl always answers the phone always has a trash attitude. Last time they shut me off before bill was due & after I had already paid. I had to fight with her for 20 minutes just to be made out like it was my fault when it was their system. They have no sympathy or compassion for anyone. Today I had to call to pay my bill and fees and I kindly asked her to relay a message to the water guy coming to my house. Last time they came they didn’t knock & didn’t turn the water fully back on so my pressure inside has been horrible since, so I asked her to tell them to just make sure to turn it fully before leaving. She said they ALWAYS knock and she absolutely refused to just tell him my simple request. They’ve been to my house 3-4 times and never knock but hey she knows all…. I hate calling up there because she always is the one to answer and has the worst attitude and just makes things so much harder. Next time I’ll get her name and complain but honestly the manager there is just as bad. The whole group of women up there that I’ve spoke to are the absolute worst. I’ve never spoke to a kind person when dealing with them except for Danielle. Okay rant over. Avoid if you can but they know we can’t go without water so we are all just stuck dealing with them. Never in my life have I despised a utility company more.

These people are criminals preying on people, don't recieve my bill in the mail. Only disconnect notices which I then pay but some how water gets turned off after paying so now there's an extra fee. You should all be fired. Pretty sure a toddler could run it better.

They were easy to get service started with and the staff were pleasant. The process could have been explained a little better regarding switching existing service to my name. I wasted some time waiting for them when it was not necessary.

Horribly managed organization.

They randomly shut off our water without warning. We never missed a payment, had no outstanding bills, nothing at all like that. We called to inquire if there was an outage, and they said it was an admin error. Our account was in good standing, and they had simply accidentally shut us off, but we could schedule an activation for another day. We would also have to be home for that appointment for them to correct their mistake.

How is this allowed? Who will be held responsible? I had better not be charged another activation fee for this. We are without water despite paying for it. What is my time worth? Shouldn't they reimburse a hotel and pay me my normal hourly rate for my time for this issue?

The staff was very unhelpful and apathetic at best, curt, and incompetent, most likely. This water department is also not affiliated with the City of Leavenworth, so is there no recourse or oversight available from elected officials regarding utilities?

They state the water bill was given to the post office on 2/15/24. I received it today 3/6/24. They blame the post office. I don’t think it’s the post office.
Even if so, no apologies..and then turn the issue onto you as if you’re responsible for memorizing when the bill is due!
Leavenworth needs a new board or new company to manage this.
I know I am not the only one with receiving late bills especially since they moved the due dates by one day. What is that all about?

Useless! We had a flood at our business this it the 3rd time because of the water department. It happened over a month ago and their insurance company just now called me to take pics. I had to throw everything away because there was mold on it. They expected me to keep all the moldy stuff so they can take pictures. Guess they don't care about people getting sick or the smell. You should do a better job and I wouldn't be out of thousands of dollars. Sure don't mind to send me a letter about a 4.00 increase, you crooks!

I don't think I've had one good experience in the 20 yrs of having to use them. I've lived in the same place for yrs. My bill is $90.00 a month, every month like clock work. Out of no where I get a bill for novenmber for $448.40. When I called and asked what was going on the women said that's what the meter was reading.i said mam that doesn't make sense. Even when I filled my kids pool in the summer the bill was only $150. You guys even sent someone out because the meter shifted so much, just to check. If you guys noticed a difference that bad why wouldn't you send someone out? The women said and I quote, "we usually do, we just didn't this time" 🤦🏽‍♀️really? Soooo, you guys seen a problem chose not to address it and let the meter continue to run up? Then oddly the meter just stopped running? I have no leaks, 1 kid here most days, no traffic, no running toilets or bad appliances yet my meter ran up 440 dollars of charges then just stopped running?
Yea ok. I was told I could go to the board meeting to address the issue but of course the board is all the same employees that have had zero to little customer service or compassion for their customers the whole 20 yrs I've had service with them smh. I think the city should have a meeting. I'd love to see how many have anything good to say about the willingness to provide solutions for their customers. I wonder what solutions are provided when a water works employee runs across an issue or concern. Wonder if accommodations are available then.

I accidentally, I'm sure we can all agree that accidents happen, missed paying my water bill in November and found out they were going to disconnect my water on the 30th. I get paid on the 1st every month because I've receive disability from the VA so I asked for a one-day, one day that's all, extension. The lady was very polite but told me that they cannot allow me a one-day extension. Honestly? Come on... I've never missed a bill the entire time that I've lived in Leavenworth. Treat your loyal customers better, especially older ones that tend to be forgetful. smdh... just a bad monopolized company. I would give zero stars if I could.
